Just when I thought that Khushi isn't SO bad reading about her making coffee for him, wanting to get him a bigger couch, their verbal spat happens and that blackmail of a phone call! This girl's dangerous. I did love her dialogue about a dead god and the word being run by devils. That was clever.

Hi Brishti! First, thank you. Khushi's personality will be revealed as we go along. But here is a spoiler her personality will echo ASR's in the original show. And morbid! how I love the correct use of words. Also circumstances shape a person, so yes she has a story. Khushi is bad when she thinks what she is doing is a wrong means to a right end. I think that's what our beloved ASR always did in the show. When he is not doing things purely out of rage, that is. You may have noticed Khushi here is not short tempered but she is manipulative and shrewd, almost cunning.

Rewind a year!

Arnav didn't imagine someone could go to such lengths just for the fun of seeing their opponents in misery. Khushi Gupta had filed a case of impersonating an employee against him even before he could act on his resolve to fight back. And he knew she drag the case as long as she wanted. He would rather be arrested than to strike a deal with Khushi Gupta if it was not for his family. The panic painted on their faces made him forgo his self respect and accept what his monster of a boss offered.

"So Mr. Raizada, you have decided to settle! What happened to the righteous employee I met two days ago?"

"You left me no choice."

"Oh! You always had the choice to fight a case which you knew had no basis. Or maybe you knew that you are not that capable a lawyer."

"I am not going to file a case against your firm, if you would just leave me in peace and let me do my work."

"Do your work? Oh, no one told you yet? You are fired."

"What? You can't fire me for your faults."

"Too late. I already did. Now get out."

He should have gotten out of her way and never looked back; he wished he had, for many months after. But he was not ready to lose another battle. She had made him go through hell and he will be damned if he let her take away his job too. He had interrupted another one of her important meetings and demanded his job back on no other basis than fairness.

"Okay. Mr. Raizada if you are this eager to work with me, I give you your job back but on one condition. You will be my personal assistant for the first three months, which as you know is half of your probation period. If I decide that you are not fit for the company after the probation period, which I have a feeling I will, you leave this company. Fair enough for you?"

"What? But I was recruited as an associate. And my qualifications..."

"Oh let me decide your qualifications, Mr. Raizada. Work under me for three months as my P.A. or walk out."

"Okay. I will work as your P.A. for as long as you want Ms. Gupta." He had gritted his teeth.

"It's ma'am for you. And welcome to hell, Mr. Raizada."
