really liking this role reversal here. it feels weird though, to have to see Arnav go through it. But shit happens 😆
na, am not enjoying it, as less I enjoyed Khushi's miserable state in the show but this for sure is a bit more interesting given the circumstances and for being a change to all the usual stuff

Feeling bad for Arnav, the same way i had felt bad for Khushi in the original.Reading all these updates make me want to know how it would have in those 'some times' where Khushi too loved Arnav.
So are we getting a pov from Khushi's side regarding Arnav???.

Hi! I know, poor Arnav. That was the whole purpose of me writing this. A vulnerable Arnav and a Khushi who is glamorous, suave, rich and dark. I hope the story goes the way i planned it to go. And yes, rewind chapters will come up in between with both of their pasts. Thank you so much for stopping by to comment.

We have got so used to reading stories about khushi being bashed and ostracized by family, that it kind of feels a bit more sorrowful to read about arnav, a man having to face that. I pity him. But in a weird way, enjoying this too😎 The last line was hilarious.

Hi pooja! I pity Arnav too since in a typical patriarchal family blaming the man of the family is rare. And when it happens the element of rarity itself intensifies the reaction. It is the woman and her body which is always considered responsible for protecting virtue, honour and preserve culture of one's society. And hence there is no immodest clothing for men as there is for women. Hence there is no word equivalent to s**t for men because their actions are not restricted by honour or virtue. A woman on the other hand has a modest body that can be violated of honour and virtue. This stigmatises when a woman is raped and trivialises when a man faces the same. I am sorry I am mixing women studies with our Arshi. But I can't help it you see, I have always been cynical about the whole foundation of morality in society. And that is why I identified more with Arnav's character in the show. His sense of right and wrong was not dictated by the majority culture, until they f**ked it all up to fit him into a mills and boons protagonist. I am rambling, I know but to compensate for that next chapter is coming up 😳

Not surprised by the way Arnav's family reacted. Question is how will it be once some time has passed. Time always heals some wounds. Let's see how close Arnav and Anjali are. Hopefully she'll pressure him for answers. Of course he won't reveal anything but hopefully she'll realize that not all is well. I was so disappointed by how Payal behaved on the show with regards to Khushi.

Now why a six month contract? What has Khushi planned to do in these months? In the show Anjali's pregnancy dictated the duration but I haven't noticed any such restriction here (unless I missed it).

Can't wait to read about their married life. Is he sleeping by the pool here too? 😆 (I shouldn't laugh...his situation sucks)

In the show I was so disappointed by how Khushi's whole family reacted. Just to make the female protagonist suffer it is not really applaudable to throw away the rationality behind Khushi's family's action. I mean what is family for if they don't give you benefit of the doubt and calls you a bad blood. They sure knew where it hurt the most and used it, so unlike a family.
And the six months contract will make sense as the story progresses. And their married life is coming up in the next chapters.
Thank you for commenting. I love chatting with you guys!

"What do you think you are doing?" Khushi asked without a trace of anything in her voice.

"What does it look like? I am going to sleep. I am tired, from all the drama you pulled." Arnav accused.

"Wait! Let me get this straight. You think you are going to sleep in my bedroom? On my bed?"

"Not yours anymore. We are married. Remember?" Arnav said, wondering where this was going.

"Arnav Singh Raizada, I didn't take you for a fool. Get out." Her tone was a command.

And that's how Arnav Singh Raizada was thrown out of their marriage bed, to the living room couch where he was supposed to sleep for next six months. Along with a pillow and a comforter, some careless words about how inside this house he was just a wound his wife couldn't let fester, were shoved into his arms. He saved his fight for tomorrow, when he wouldn't be so tired!

Now, lying uncomfortably on a couch that doesn't have enough room for his six feet frame, he thought about their marriage, he had almost forgotten that it was not for ever and that it was never real.

Next part will be up later tonight! Hopefully.
