The fact is, he returned to the medium he dismissed some years ago. However, his return was not what was expected. It's not that easy to "Come back" after 5 years to a medium. The mistake was coming back as another ASR, in a show with the same name, same theme song, same love hate story etc. In this version they didnt even do justice to the hype and the story was a total disaster. The show was superficial and gimmicky. Gul has really lost her touch in telling this style of story now. Anyways, her shows are not known for their "depth".

ALL this is water under the bridge anyway. I hope the cast and crew get some good breaks in the future. For all those who think "critiszm" is only done by Haters, think again. A lot of us were fans of Season 1 and hoped something good will be presented to us. Yes I liked Sarun, but I am not obsessed with them. But Gul Khan was SO arrogant and dismissive of the fans that made IPK franchise a global success. She was silly enough to think she didn't need fan's support and can troll trolls and even fans. The woman is the pits and needs to grow up. She has not had ONE original thought in years and thought Sherali's costumes will "Sell" this show. Part 1 of the franchise was sold on a simple story, no big budget, and no big stars. Everyone was quite low profile. But the show became a hit and made stars of the cast and even the crew. Writers and directors became stars too. (Gautam Hedge, Ved Raj - writers. Lalit Mohan and Arshad Khan - Directors) GH writes Naamkarann now and LM is directing IB. So that proves that if a product is "Good" it usually finds an audience, appreciation and it sells. ONE actor cant sell a show. Especially if it's crap.

This show is ending coz it was badly done. No other reason. No amount of Sarun fans trolling could have made SP ax it if it was good and got ratings. In 3 months this show has never entered the Top 20. I don't think that can be excused in a Prime Time slot. So this show is getting axed for that reason. Not anything else. Please know this is my opinion, and I will not tolerate being talked down to by anyone for giving it.
