Hello everyone, I've been away from the main forum because I couldn't bear the name calling when a spade is called a spade. So thank you for the CC.

I have been wondering why this show went this way when everything was there initially. It had a well known production house, the biggest channel is India and from the looks of it, a lot of financial backing going by the initial grandeur of the show. So what exactly happened?

Of course we know what happened: the story happened.

But it doesn't take a genius to realize it was not a story well put together. It was a half baked concept that had no soul or connection to the audience. A little brainstorming among the 4 lions team of professions could have been enough to figure out that the whole premise of an adult seeking revenge from an 8 year old girl is just plain stupid. What followed was even more disastrous with gaping holes in the plot, terrible execution and editing.

Why was this treatment to such a high profile show that too given the prime time slot? Didn't Gul realize the repercussions and the dent this is going to bring to her name? It's obvious that the show was not well thought of and the concept was not developed. So why was the negligence to build the core of the story?

Anyway, these were my questions from the beginning of the show. I really wanted to figure out what was going on but I guess we will never know now.

Hi Kavitha, I honestly don't think we can blame Harneet entirely. She didn't develop the initial concept and even if she did, she should have been taken down from the job for incompetency. That was solely upto Gul to handle her employees.

The concept of the story is just plain ludicrous (childhood lovers, temple treasures, revenge from an 8 year old's crime and not digging deeper into the mystery). And I'm guessing Harneet just writes the story that has already been established and discussed among the creatives. She alone can't take a decision to change or write a storyline (or that's what I think).
