Gauri since DBO days has mentioned that she would not force herself upon Om under circumstamces and true to her words she maintained it for a long time. She never expected anything from Om till recently.
However, Gauri returned as the "bahu" of the house...when Rudra requested her to do so. She clarified her "sirf bahu" status to Om very clearly. She returned home by her own will and wasn't forced to do so by Om and she helped out the family a lot.
What confuses me as a viewer is why this sudden craving for acceptance on Gauri's part? She was the one who returned as "sirf bahu"...so has she changed her stance?...Is she out of the "sirf bahu" status...the one which she returned to OM?...If so when and how did this happen?...This sudden change wasn't conveyed to the viewers who are as confused as Om.

Gauri was always self dependent...she hardly required anybody to comfort her. She escaped twice from KT with her own efforts. Is it very much required to show her dependent now?

As I said...the inconsistencies in the script are acting as a slow poison for RiKara...Some monologues of both Gauri and Om are needed...and right now for me a monologue of Gauri would be helpful.

The way I see it, though Gauri came back as sirf Bahu, at hospital when Om was fighting for his life all that resolve went out and she told the nalayak goons there did you think I will leave my husband. That right there says she has switched to the wife mode. And as a wife she is craving his acceptance and Shivaye is not helping either. Instead of encouraging the 2 to talk, he is having one off convos with Om and Gauri which the other is not aware of. In a way Shivaye is messing up the situation quite badly. I can connect to Gauri wanting Om's acceptance but the problem is she is not conveying those feelings to Om . How can you expect Om to just know but she does expect Om to just know 😆

Coming to Om, you are right he has been Christal clear right from the beginning. But the issue there is the eyelocks and the touches and the caring he shows her gives her another signal which is confusing her too.

Both says one thing but their actions are different.

I am more clear on where Gauri is, I need a monologue from Om cos I am not positive what he feels for her exactly 😆

I think gauri monologue today kinda explained her feelings, since she came back as sirf bahu om has been trying to be nice, supportive in her mission and then shivay gave her that advice she kinda wanted to take that n see how it would come out. The the murti trip happened and oms words esp have been giving her signs there might be something there but as usual he falters to tell fully what he meant. Today she said she thought they were coming close but since the dhaba scene n now this exhibition things r once again looking bleak. She set herself up n her heart broke. As for being self dependent sometimes being strong is exhausting and this is someone gauri is falling for wants to be his wife her heart is involved she is bound to have her emtional breakdown moments. Both rikara need more pov though esp om.

As I was reading all the comments here, a thought came to mind. Did Om not accept her Patni/shadhi status at dhaba because he thinks Gauri does not want to be known as his wife due to the sirf bahu tag?

Man I tell you, we need monologues so badly now. 😆

I feel this insult wud be a real turning point for Rikara. Bcoz as far as I can remember only Om has insulted her and yeah Pinky (but who cares abt her). After the inspiration episode, when Om broke her heart, she left and by the next day she was eating channa searching for a job. This time its not gonna be easy. Bcoz earlier she knew that wotever accusations Om showered on her were untrue. He only spoke abt her being characterless, which she knows is not true. SO maybe she cud overcome easily. But this time she knows that wotever humiliations she faced there wa bcoz she was not educated...and came from a small town. Its true also, yeh alag baat hain ki neither Om nor any of the Oberois care abt it. The family loves her and I like to believe Om also😊 So this time Gauri's heartbreak is not gonna vanish into thin air like before, I feel.

That is what i have been saying as well coz back at OM when he asked her why she was upset n then she left he said the sirf bahu word and said he doesnt understand her.

Or he might be goading gauri to say what she feels about the sirf bahu thing i dunno😆

OM is not one to play games with emotions so what is going on😆

Also she thinks her shortcomings were bad for om not about herself so she might be insecure about it but only for oms sake aand the fact this is the reason om might think she isnt good enough for him. This misconception from her part really needs to be removed and only om can do that.

This is my guess.

It's also plagued with his own issues with the idea of marriage.

I am making a guess here after gauri's hum hum hain aur aap aap' and his heartbreaking 'sirf bahu'.

I think both think the other dont want the other.

that would be really messed up!
but the way he reacted at the dhaba when the woman asked how long have you been married tells me a different story.. he thought of brushing off that statement cuz he still doesnt believe that marriage... maybe for him marriage comes in the end? now he wants to understand and develop a connection with her..
