before queen kangu was not a mega star but just before simran's release she has turned into a legit meg star so comparing the openings are unfair. mega stars bring a massive opening fr their films, they do not depend on content right ?

How can Kangana be compared to other women in the industry?

AFAIK she's a megastar and there isn't any female in BW who can compete with her.

Megastar ka itna low opening... tch tch. Bohot afsoos hua. Itni controversy bhi nahi kaam ayi aur especially 7 million views on YT per bhi nahi kaam aye. 😭

Few factors.

- It is a bad weekend for release.

- Neither Farhan Akhtar or Kangana Ranaut have the star power to draw crowds. Their past successes have been based on word of mouth and good promotions. Both Simran and Lucknow Central have received mixed reviews. You need highly positive reviews for WOM success.

- The audience is more demanding lately. If it expects a lot from big stars, the minor stars have to more than deliver.

Lol. This was expected. So much drama is needed to promote a bad film, unfortunately she doesn't have star power to get a decent weekend by the time wom sets in. Said this few times in those drama threads 😆
