Social media specially twitter as a mode to get feedbacks 😆 majority only drool on the actors or demand for more romance. I hardly see comments on the story or execution.

Personally I feel the maker and writers should be free to tell their story without outward influences and fan demands! After all it's there story to tell but here, NO COMMENTS!!

But then pleasing the fandom won't get them TRPs right 😕

Vogue had started off well with the short films on topics of equality, respect for women etc

they ruined it releasing that half baked My choice video and worsened the damage it did by giving half baked explanations for their mistake

unrelated to the topic of discussion but a couple of scenes in the above ad related to boys crying on winning or losing reminded me of one of the reasons why I love Federer so much..the guy has won almost everything there is to win in tennis..and yet he cries (sometimes literally wails) everytime he loses as well as wins something significant..heck he admitted to becoming teary eyed on his wedding with his long time girl friend and the mother of his to be born children coz the enormity of the occasion got to him..most commentators and fans make fun of him for crying easily but I think that makes me like him even more..makes me feel these things mean so much to him that he cant control his emotions..😳

you should watch it..if you guys are ok with subtitles that is..coz the series is mostly in spanish..i thought i would find it irksome but i soon realised that the language it is spoken in adds so much tot eh authenticity

season 2 does drag a bit before the finale but it was still great overall

add to that the phenomenal acting

Bonus: It stars Pedro Pascal whom i love in Got

Season 3 is getting rave reviews too

I agree things have evolved more advanced like bhavi said what was considered a luxury then is not so now, but fact is world is constantly changing. the hardships of life, the challenges faced remains more or less the same then and now.

Parents gives gifts and rewards and then they say you kids are spoilt 😆 A child as young as 8 has a tab to play with 😕 who's fault is that !!

@Bold: I kind of dont agree with this

As much as I used to dislike (and still do to a certain extent) my parents/uncle/aunt/grandparents telling me that, I sort of have come to agree to it to a certain extent that we have it easier

I do agree that children are spoilt rotten by overindulgence, but even the ones that are not, dont have the same character to face things that few generations ago had..kind of herd mentality at work like herd immunity (post vaccination does)

Disclaimer: sorry for jumping in and commenting. I haven't read previous posts on the topic and since are moving fast with multiple comments, its difficult to cope up

so my reply may sound out of line

Yes our comfort levels have definitely improved and I have to admit this generation has a laidback attitude towards life too but when a crisis come we're lost!! Our parents are efficient in handling things even when it's a mess. I'm in my late 20s but even now when things get challenging I stress out and dad will be the calm one and sorting it out.

unlike the older generation the peer pressure the expectations from ourselves and the loved ones around us have all become too much. There's a balance that parents and children need to achieve!

Its not just about comfort levels alone in my opinion..its the ease with which the younger generation has got things, makes them appreciate it less. I am not saying they need to slog their butts off, unnecessarily strive for things, and not enjoy things/life or anything like that..just coz they come easy...why look a gift horse in the mouth? But all this has led to feel a bit entitled and less tolerant and less accpetant of hardhips if and when they come

@Peer pressure: I agree that has increased..but thats our own fault isn't it..giving importance to things that shouldn't really matter..

also another way of looking at it..the pressure has just transfered from society to peers..

in Older days, things were guided by what society would think of a particluar action..now a days people care less about the society (thank god for that) and more about upholding the image in front of friends and acquaintances...so has the pressure really increased?

As for parent children dynamics- there is this great video by Simon Sinek..its abit long but makes so much sense as to where and how things went off track

season 1 and 2 follow the story of Pablo Escobar, who basically was responsible for the development of drug cartels..and the local police/politicans efforts to cut his wings with the help of US forces..

Season 3 follows the story of another cartel

@ bold - Yes I agree with you.

Ben, I would not compare the challenges of last generation with new ones. With technological advancement life has become easy and with less hardship. What was not easily available before is plenty now. Today's generations' few challenges are technological detox, overcome instant gratification, to understand that life is not all about needs and wants and is beyond it. They have more competition in the real world.

I don't know what you mean by saying that the old generation is more sorted out. Well they have experience to back it with. I find that the new generation is way more smart and have resources that helps them to stay clear of issues. They do act their age however they are more responsible and take decisions based on facts rather than emotions. They are brave and they exactly know what they want in the future.

When i converse with people of the age group of 20's their life is not all party. Its way past it. When they study they study with full concentration unlike us who were more indulgent in strikes😆

I can not draw a straight line with pen ST those portraits are beautiful. This is the real good artists.

PS - As far as ST goes I too was confused as to why are you being dragged in IPK😆
