But how can Simi help Preet or set a trap simply by going alone with Chander? She's only putting herself in danger. Chander is obviously physically stronger than her and he can harm her anytime which is what he wants to do.

Maybe she knew that Rohan would come for her rescue, or she could have done something to alert him.

Yes we should have kind of seen it coming. But that scene had at least one good effect.

We got to see a very very very guilty Raj. And somewhere deep down maybe Preet holds him responsible.
