When they showed disclaimer of 'violence against woman' during the episode today, for a short few seconds i got so afraid thinking if Advay would hurt her physically. Thank God no such thing happened. I couldn't have watched it no matter what if he even laid a finger on her.

My 2 pence worth about Advay showing his colours as anti-hero and Chandni being a victim:

1) Advay from what we know is an insomniac, slept tonight as he was so battered, this insomnia is I am sure due to the horrific events he witnessed as a teenager. I would guess he has spent many nights over the last 16 years unable to sleep - Advay made Chandni stay awake for 1 night.

2) Advay had to abandon his brother 16 years ago and has not seen his brother for 16 years, he doesn't even know if his brother is alive or not. Advay didn't allow Chandni to meet her sisters for 24 hours, did let them speak and they will meet at the reception that evening.

3) Chandni - is a victim of years of emotional abuse by the her own mother. Abuse victims don't need us to judge them or hate them for our perception that they are weak. People stay in abusive relationships because they get conditioned into believing by their abuser that this what they deserve and that they need to do everything possible to keep their abuser happy. If she had been a victim of domestic (husband) abuse for 16+years would we expect her to be full of sass and defiance as soon as someone else starts abusing her? Emotional scars take longer to heal than physical ones. These scars are not going to heal overnight. Being abused by your mother is probably the worst type of abuse, because your mother should be the one nurturing and protecting you. Chandni until now has had no real support to allow her to even see herself as the victim, once she does she will slowly start changing her thought patterns etc but at the moment its too entrenched!

4) Honestly, I am looking forward to seeing both Advay and Chandni's journeys!

Sorry read some posts that I didn't want to reply to but just needed to say my bit!

I knew he will not touch her
Not now without her consent
He was just using her weakness

That feeling when you hate Advay as a human, but as a critic think he's well-written. I just caught up with the week. That was sad, in the moment I probably wouldn't have come up with anything objective. I'm far too emotional for this lol.

I think the recurring thought in my brain is the look on Advay's face when he learns she's innocent. 😆

If we don't get a serious redemption track for Advay, I don't think I'll call it good writing. However I can't expect Advay crawling. Harneet loves her male sleazebags too much. Even though on the other side I'm just screaming for them to make it darker because I want to hate Advay. I like calling him stupid, it's just fun for me. Hurt Chandni more, it'll be that much more fun to watch Advay breakdown.

Part of me feels like this is too soon. I was hoping Advay and Veer would have some sort of friendship, but I hope when Veer learns Advay is his brother, that Veer reminds Advay what kind of monster he is.

Honestly, I wish Chandni was just funny during this. It's all too serious. I want some humour in these dark times, not forced comedy, but generally mocking Advay would be nice too.

I am looking forward to more though. Can't wait!
