Star Plus' recently launched early primetime show Chakravyuh' was the UK's most watched show on Asian television, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsiaLive.com.

Chakravyuh' at 18:00 attracted 112,800 viewers peaking at 131,800 viewers, followed by Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' at 18:30 with 71,000 viewers, Naamkarann' at 21:00 with 67,800 viewers, Ishqbaaaz' at 21:30 with 63,400 viewers and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' at 19:30 with 60,800 viewers. Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon Season 3' dropped to 45,000 viewers at 20:00. Earlier in the day, Meri Durga' topped afternoon ratings with 23,700 viewers, followed by Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee' at 13:30 with 16,100 viewers and Love Ka Hai Intezaar' at 14:00 with 15,300 viewers.

Good news for RKC fans.Just hoping for good TRPs back home too.😳 No show deserves it more.

Shwets, I know you are busy with IPK-3. Hope you can give this a try too, if time permits. You won't be disappointed.

Ecri - I too think that he is not dead. May be Satrupa planned it. Who knows? Its chakravyuh and anything can happen.

G- I don't think they will turn Anami bechari. This strong Anami is enough for the TRP (me think).

Is this finite series show?

Bhavi - the lady in red is Sudha. She is Narrottam's mother. Sudha and Baldev had a fling. I am guessing either before or after marriage. It wasn't that clear because Dadaji said your mistakes when you were younger. That is why Baldev has been omitted out of the will. So not sure on the timelines. But Sudha wears the sindoor, which is probably of Baldev's name. She is one of the antagonists of the show.

The ML resembles siddharth malhotra a little. Humshakal but not that good looking.. 😆 But yea his acting needs to improve quickly. He is acting next to some amazing actors who own that show.

Why is the show at 6pm? it should be a prime time show. Its doing great in UK...good... 😃

I am totally enjoying RKC. I can say that as of today, there is no better show that has so much potential, grit and finesse without being a love story.

@Bhavi- I dont think they are planning to wean out the Pathak's but I think Anami will give her family up to go to Lal Mahal. That would be the foregoing of her Kavach and Kundal, imo. I loved the scenes of the Pathak's and while the main story will be at Lal Mahal, they would perhaps, make a come back too.

And the CBI is Ankit Siwach and he is a good actor. At least he is smart and is shown to use his brain plus he will settle in the story soon. 😆 I think he looks like Siddharth Malhotra too, but its his first show and he seems to be holding his own in front of the veterans.

As for Vatsalya, he is dead. And its his death that has set the ball rolling for the Mahabharata to begin, where in the Karna will now make an appearance on the Kurukshetra, which is going to be Anami's Janambhoomi and Karambhoomi.

As for the story/ FL being compromised for TRPs, well RKC is Sanjot kaur's brainchild and I tell ya she is one helluva talented woman. Apparently, she has been involved with a lot of shows on SP and is an EDT with the GEC. With RKC, she and Bhupinder Singh have finally launched Rolling Stone Pictures and Taurus Media. The duo are extremely talented and deserve a chance if not anything else. Sanjot has been briefly associated with Sphere Origins, one of the oldest, most popular and sturdy production houses in the industry. They were the makers of Balika Vadhu, IPK-EBP, Mere Angne Main, Saraswatichandra, Gulaal, Ek Chutki Aasmaan, Piya Rangrez, KLKAH, Saath Phere- Saloni ka Safar and many others. She is known for giving strong FLs and fantastic stories.

Idk, its the new fad in the industry to branch out from the parent PH and make a new beginning for themselves and a lot of talented people are doing it. Like the makers of Haasil, Alchemy Productions, Siddharth Malhotra branched out from Cinevistaa and started the new company with his wife. However, as long as we get good content, I am all for the rift.😃

And the TRPs, well 6 PM slot gets the levy and since its Rolling Stones and Taurus Media' first JV, they are leaving no stone unturned in making the show with all their sweat and blood. Plus, a mother and daughter's story will always find its niche. So at this slot the makers can tell their tale without making compromises. And if the TRPs pick up, SP will make haste by shifting it to prime rime slot. Btw, the first data realises tom and slow and steady wins the race. 😉

PS Bhavi, yes Shreya was CT_Shreya earlier and is Athene now. She is a fantastic DT and very prompt too. I have known her for over 6 years now. 😳

PPS Lovely dialogues on the show. " Yeh hamara janam nahi Kalank hai' and "tumne panditain ki beti ko paida kiya hai.' 👏👏 Kudos to the team.

She is talking about Rishton ka Chakravyuh. Its the story of a mother-daughter and traces the journey of Mahabharata with the writer envisaging situations on 'what if Karna from Mahabharata was a girl'.

The show is fantastic Shweta, I have given lot of briefs above and you can read through. It has good actors on board too. 😊

The forum is fairly slow but the show is the best from the current crop of desi sabuns. 😆

Btw, tfs for sharing the news on Indian jurisdiction on rape victims. Its a lost cause frankly even after 71 years of Independence, the women apart, even the baby girls are not safe in the country. Its a shame. Its a pitiable situation and there seems to be no respite.

@Swetha Tfs for the updates on EDT and IPK3. I liked the marriage promo of IPK3 have mentioned on Sushpectives too. And I am looking forward to the track post the marriage.

Thanks Shwets! I have been turned off from all this...and was in Texas...so there wasn't much outrage...

What I don't understand is why are the statues becoming so important ...Don't people have anything better to do than to remove statues...? What's the point in erasing history? History is there to learn from...not erase... Trump at the helm has generated all kinds of polarized actions...and his non-response to condemning racism unequivocally is generating more unrest...

Everything has become so unstable since he has taken charge...even N Korea situation seemed so out of control...😕
