Actually , I've abandonment issues myself , plus Annika being an orphan and her entire life being a struggle , including her very complicated married life with her illustrious husband , it's not easy to be her !
Yet she never lost her beautiful soul, her kindness , her compassion.
She's totally my fav character since the first episode.
So I'm more protective of her.
There can't be two opinions about the fact that her happiness is Shivay n Shivay only.
SSO is a very beautiful and very complicated character.
He was almost a living dead and was on the verge of self destruction,with occasional bursts of self harm , after Annika left , yet he didn't try to find out if there's more than meets the eye , may be because he took Annika at face value , but he should've known her better , plus he didn't try to find out how she's doing.. if she's alright.. etc.
So he's a different character , more difficult to understand for me at times , than Annika who's thought processes and motivations are more understandable and relatable for me.
I do criticize him a lot and I'll continue to do so , may be till I'm totally satisfied..
Because at the end of the day , I want happiness for him as much as I do for Annika.
He's immense will power , he can take life by the horns and look at it dead in the eyes and say with authority , " I;m not asking you , I'm ordering you. "
And my psychology is like that of Saahil, at the end of the day I expect Shivay to save the day , .. " Keu ki aap SSO ho na.. "
Annika deserves a life full of happiness and only happiness. But so does Shivay because in this story , till now , only one character deserves the title of ISHQBAAZ , in the true meaning and glory of the word and that character is certainly none other than Shivay Singh Oberoi. Ishqbaaz will go down in history, despite all it's folly, as the unforgettable tale of SSO earning , then donning and finally owning the title of Ishqbaaz.
