Stick to genre.or two. magic , science fiction, fantasy , mystery or romance. Dont mish mash and please - continuity , make some sense and try to connect with the audience!!

I'm a sucker for antiheroes and revenge dramas so when this show started I thought I'd give it a chance. Also because while I wasn't a fan or viewer of the first season, I did see a couple of episodes and thought Barun's strength as an actor lay in grey shades and angst. So initially I was hoping for if not great something pleasant.

Everyone has already talked about all the disconnect with the horrible script glitches and technical side and other aspects and quite in detail so I think I'm going to talk about another major issue I've been having and that's not letting me connect at all with the female lead.

To connect with any character we must empathize with them and empathy means to put ourselves in their places and know we'd do the exact same thing. Which is why I don't understand Chandini at all.
She's a girl with a traumatic past. She's scarred by what has happened. She has constant anxiety attacks and is unable to have normal interactions with males (all gauged from first two weeks).

How can a girl like that have any romantic inclination toward Advay? Just how? A guy comes out of nowhere and threatens you, and mauls you, invades your physical space and talks to you in cryptic language where he blames you, and shows his hatred, and calls you names and a liar and what not. Hee constantly acts passive-aggressive toward you. He promises you your family won't get any close to the 'khazaana' and then enters your house and tells you he wants to marry you. At this point you should already be screaming bloody murder and thinking he needs mental treatment because WHO BEHAVES LIKE THAT? Who in their normal mind? For Chandini she shouldn't even be seeking him out and bantering with him.

fine so it's still okay but yesterday's episode made me go a big W*F. I mean put yourself there. so just because a guy wants to meet you, he drugs your sisters, enters your room and steps over your bed and then touches you. Replace Barun with Om prakash or anyone else who looks like Ted bunty 200 pounds overweight. Not hot anymore is it? This is downright creepy behavior and if i were in her place I'd be screaming bloody murder and questioning his mental balanc. Literally because this is abnormal behavior. And we're not talking about Advay's pov atm. We're talking about Chandini's pov. And doubly so for Chandini who suffers from a trauma and anxiety.

Instead all of this woos her quite astonishingly and she's lost in him and cue the romantic bgm which plays all the time anyway.😆 She seeks him out all the time, banters with him and pretty much lets him have his say and does all of this so normally like kya hua agar munda borderline creep hai toh.

Story always comes first for me. But if it's so inconsistent at least the characters need to make some sense. for you to buy it. Apparently hotness trumps logic.

👏, this exactly. i honestly have been trying to reconcile this weird feeling in me about chandni and you've done a wonderful job putting it in words. the reason im feeling this way is because i literally would not do what chandni is doing, i put myself in her shoes and i would do the complete opposite of how she is reacting and responding to advay. im just sitting here thinking especially now she is hella sassy, why are you acting like that, why are you letting him be like that with you, why are you letting him touch you like that, why are you getting lost in him, why are you becoming weirdly comfortable with him. why is it suddenly her trauma basically disappeared, why have you forgotten half of the crazy things his said and done, i mean sending those market people and then calling you to call them of if you did what he wanted, which would make you more then a little suspicious, like way more. i mean this random dude showed up out of now where, harassed you, buys your house and now wants to marry you and the worst part is we dont get her pov, we didnt at the start and we still dont much now, which reminded of older eps when he showed up and i was expecting chandni to question his presence, who is he etc but nope meghna ended up filling in chandni. i liked her when she said dont touch me in the older eps. your right, i cant help but think what if he wasnt as hot as he is, would chandni still be kind of lost in him and be as affected by him, i would have liked that consistency that despite looks she would still be creeped out and be extremely resistant to him wether his was hottie mchottie or some shmuck who people wouldnt look at twice. it annoys me doubly because im not able to properly connect to her and that fact that she does have this apparent anxiety due to a guy kidnapping her and torturing her, also how long as she known him, 3 weeks.

@bold, story and consistency makes or break it for me, i cant even stay for even for my beloved of actors.

Imagine a creepy looking pot belied guy wit receding hairline in Barun's place and not only is it not hot anymore, it's beyond creepy. In fact in Ishqbaaz there was a guy who was obsessed with the fl who did things like breaking into her house, holding her hand withour permission and getting creepily into her space and asking her to marry him and that was accompanied by creepy music so people were all like how disgusting and the fl herself was creeped out. But here not only is chandini so comfortable in his presence, she gets the dhak dhak when he's near and gets lost in him and seeks him out and banters with him so normally. She should be repulsed by him. She should strongly tell him to leave her alone. She should take some action to keep him away or inform someone about his stupidities. And oh yeah the part where he blackmailed her! i forgot about that part and she obviously knows or doubts him for the khazana thing. Nothing about him is normal. His behavior with her has been downright inconsistent ranging from aggresive and creepy to cryptic and manipulative. How can she be so normal around him? How can she not feel anxcious, scared, repulsed, angry with him? how can she start falling in love right now? She just doesn't make any sense.

like when she should've told him off or thrown him out of her room or gotten out she was charmed and let him take her in his arms like whattt.😆 Her character is the biggest W*F in the show for me and how would i connect to her or feel the chemistry if i can't even understand her or support her logics? She should've been clearly appalled and against him and trying to stay away and Advay should've been his ruthless self and then the conflict would've been apparent and atleast both the characters would've consistent to themselves. Most of their scenes nowadays are just random advay cornering her and rabba ves while chandini goes moon eyed.
