I watched the epi and enjoyed it but something was amiss. Its the Obahus scenes. Esp the kitchen one. It looked as if I was kept on gun point by some officer (pun intended) to forcibly like & smile during the word mismatch scene. It looked THAT forced.
Anika-Mallika-Sumo were Golden. No one can compare.
Surprisingly, I had like Anika-Gauri during Mahasangam episodes. Where the previous Golden trio gave out friendly vibes, AniRi gave me sister vibes during MS. The bonding & the conversation seemed natural & adorable. I remember thinking Anika would make a fabulous elder sister to her chutki gauri.
But after merger all the obahu scenes looked forced. And the reason is Bhavya
I am not bashing the actor here. She is a good looking fine actress. It's the character sketch thats so flimsy that spoils what would have been an otherwise good scene.
She is being made into a bahu, everyone treating her as an Oberoi, what's with (re)uniting her with Rudra, or that meri wali Teri wali comments. There is an attraction between them. Let the love story START naturally no? Why the forceful dhakka? Why are the family trying to unite them as if they are estranged hubby wife?
Thats what is irking everyone at least me. If she is shown as someone who is serious , focused, on a mission (literally!), minding her own business, while both rudra & she battling the attraction, now that would be some story to begin with. Instead they are showing her neglecting her mission n focusing on eggs, dumbbells, spiders, doors, peeping through keyholes & cooking. One or two scenes with the family is fine. She getting attached to someone could be explored too. But instead they are forcing her on us during this family scenes. She looks out of place too because she isn't in any way part of it. I urge the CVs to let Ruvya love story play out naturally.
Irony, sumo was rudra's wife but never got the status. Bhavya isn't married to rudra but everyone & she herself thinks her as one.
