I watched the epi and enjoyed it but something was amiss. Its the Obahus scenes. Esp the kitchen one. It looked as if I was kept on gun point by some officer (pun intended) to forcibly like & smile during the word mismatch scene. It looked THAT forced.
Anika-Mallika-Sumo were Golden. No one can compare.
Surprisingly, I had like Anika-Gauri during Mahasangam episodes. Where the previous Golden trio gave out friendly vibes, AniRi gave me sister vibes during MS. The bonding & the conversation seemed natural & adorable. I remember thinking Anika would make a fabulous elder sister to her chutki gauri.

But after merger all the obahu scenes looked forced. And the reason is Bhavya

I am not bashing the actor here. She is a good looking fine actress. It's the character sketch thats so flimsy that spoils what would have been an otherwise good scene.

She is being made into a bahu, everyone treating her as an Oberoi, what's with (re)uniting her with Rudra, or that meri wali Teri wali comments. There is an attraction between them. Let the love story START naturally no? Why the forceful dhakka? Why are the family trying to unite them as if they are estranged hubby wife?

Thats what is irking everyone at least me. If she is shown as someone who is serious , focused, on a mission (literally!), minding her own business, while both rudra & she battling the attraction, now that would be some story to begin with. Instead they are showing her neglecting her mission n focusing on eggs, dumbbells, spiders, doors, peeping through keyholes & cooking. One or two scenes with the family is fine. She getting attached to someone could be explored too. But instead they are forcing her on us during this family scenes. She looks out of place too because she isn't in any way part of it. I urge the CVs to let Ruvya love story play out naturally.

Irony, sumo was rudra's wife but never got the status. Bhavya isn't married to rudra but everyone & she herself thinks her as one.

You've said it all. Completely agree...especially @bold blue: That sums up the tragic irony here...the character that was actually beloved and well integrated into the story never got the status she actually technically had the right to while this girl who literally showed up out of nowhere is playing bahu like she is actually married into the family😕😆

And the irritating and annoying part is she is the ring leader of this gang. All the main dialogues go to her. Gauri and Anika are mostly made to say one or two lines and bang that hand holding thing comes!
😡 how awesome it would have been if she as a cop would have taken some legal action for the baby? But no, she is seen peeping through keyholes, husband bashing to the girls like some gossipyy housewife.

All girls using each other's vocabulary looks totally forced and that hand holding is absolutely cringe worthy. Frankly I felt like FFing their scenes.
Pity because the bros are just killing it with their chemistry together ! Wish the girls had the same

Merger news got me excited mainly because of getting to see OBros together and AniRi. Obros to khoob milay but AniRi kya 'kaddoo' scenes chitkaa rahe hain. Anika & Gauri clicked instantly (tbough I was shipping them long time ago 😆). They met during MS and their conversation were emotional and meaningful. They both were caught in difficult situation and they became each others' support system. I felt happy seeing the genuine ness in their bonding and I was relieved that I wasn't shipping them blindly. They gave off sisterly vibes. Their scenes never felt forced in those episodes. But now there are no Anika Gauri scenes instead there is a horror element in the girls' scene. Why is it compulsion to have 3 girls glued together always. Why can't the "Bahus" of Oberois discuss the seriousness of any matter be it their relationship, their own selves, sharing and listening to eachother. Why there always has to be the 3rd wannabe Bahu ghusso in everything. She is ruining AniRi for me. Can't skip Anika Gauri as I look for their tiny interactions. Since Bhavya is Maatay's creation she will do her best to force her down our throats. It's not that we aren't tryina accept her. We did but she isn't clicking with anyone. God! Even Khanna has made a place in my heart. I consider him one of the Oberois. I wouldbe thankful if she is kept as 'takkar' of Rudy only so that I don't have to skip much of the episode. No need to takrao her with everyone be it Anika, Gauri, Shivaay, On, Rudra, Dadi, Jhanvi coz it ain't working.

Mallika track was Gold. The best of IB I'd say. They were so natural. Trust me if Saumya had been here today the fun would've been doubled. Saumya never tried she became a part of the family just like that. I miss her and want her back. Why they had to ruin Rudra and his story.

Lol market research to this ph means gul mataa ka farman even ek listens to the audience. Why don't they understand that shoving bhavya down my throat instead of making me like her is making me dislike her more. Gauri's mom is here so she is out of group scenes now this acp needs to go back to her mission and leave ani alone. Why do they think that people will forget who the fls have been for the past year and six months respectively they seriously think that the audience will tune in to watch bhavya like they do to watch Anika or Gauri.

Atleast in Malika, Sumo and Anika's case there was a clear genuine friendship right off the bat also cuz SC, Neha and SJ had instant chemistry together. Even Navina and SC were good together.

I can understand it's hard for them to keep the freshness going after 300+ episodes but when we get episodes like today where the boys still got pretty good scenes and Anika was stuck with two people who are just not as fun as Sumo and Malika were, well the contrast tends to stand out. They had something to their interactions beyond just wanting to spy on the boys...

If she's catering to the demands of "equal screen space then it should be couple's equal screen space, not each individual's screen space, it's just not working out.

I started watching the episode but couldn't go past Gauri's mom's entry, I had to stop it.

Not just OBahus but to me OBros scenes with the baby looked forced today too. As much as I LOVE them together and individually, today all seemed like making an effort to create comedy. Rudy had some really good dialogues and comedy seems his forte but it looked completely forced on Shivaay and Om at least today. They both fit with more mature humor than what was shown today, it was just sooo kiddish.

And yes, Bhavya just does not click as part of Oberois, she will never be gelled like Sumo did. Saumya had so much history with the Oberois too which Bhvya is completely lacking. She was part of the family for 250+ episodes. Also, Sumo was shown intelligent who was very well aware of Rudra's strengths and weaknesses and they had this deep rooted friendship between them before they were shown getting married. I don't even know what attracts Bhvya and Rudra towards each other? How much they know about each other to be showing and shipping as a couple?

@ Blue: It's not so much about keeping the freshness after 300+ episodes, I understand it is not that easy but it's more so about the flow and progression of the story. The story has not moved an inch since the Shivika separation and I, for one, can't seem to see end of this NKK track which I believe they started with Mahi's entry back around March?? If they think that bringing Shivika under one roof = progression, then no, that's not how I see it I guess I went too much off the topic here😊
