Basu is like Pritam..They are coin of same lot..they always copy paste but the difference is they are talented in copying so the end result comes good..But when soo much effort they put in for getting "inspired" then there is hardly any energy left in making something original

Jagga Jasoos 'inspired' by Tintin comics, says blogger; Anurag Basu denies any similarities

"I think one should wait for the release. Only after watching the film people will realise it's nowhere close to Tintin."

Anurag Basu clarifies it's mere coincidence that Ranbir Kapoor's hairdo is the same as Tintin's

"I wanted to give Ranbir a unique hairdo. This look wasn't my first choice. When we started trying out different looks, there was one we liked, but it did not make him look very child-like, which was an essential. No other look, apart from this one, matched our narrative. It's a coincidence that it is the same as that of Tintin,"

Recently, a blogger named Sagaran Hos pointed out many striking similarities between Ranbir's Jagga and Herg's world-favourite young adventurer, Tintin. According to him, it is not just the looks, but instances from the trailer that appear quite similar to the comic strips. But Basu denied such claims, saying "it's nowhere close to Tintin."
