@CutiepieAD and Shruti - Completely agree with you guys.. Maya is the antagonist in the show so by logic the audience should be able to root for the people standing against her.. Arjun.. well, he has basically no stand.. he swings from one side to another .. says and does the most dumb things people can imagine.. I was never sure how and exactly when and why he fell for Maya.. for a good part of the show, I was convinced that he loves Maya for her money.. Season 2 had the guy changing his stance every other day.. Kabhi Maya kabhi Dusky.. Started with anger, hatred and frustration against Maya and ended up in defending her for a crime she committed against his own brother who was actually trying to protect him from Maya's kala saya albeit the wrong way.😕 He still has no clue what happened that night.. which means he still believes that Ayaan had molested Maya..How on earth then did he feel it was fit to leave his 8 month pregnant mentally sick wife with him and walk away hand in hand with Dusky.. after declaring that he cannot live without his bff? If he loves the baby as he claims, shouldn't he atleast pretend to take care of the mother even if as an incubator..

I had hopes from Samay but the guy nose dived into his own downfall.. Dusky, having suffered the most at Maya's hands and being a lawyer, is in the best position to trap Maya, only if she uses her brains, leaving her fixation for her duffer aside.. I have lost count of times, she has said that from this day onwards Arjun means nothing to her.. Its disappointing.. Maya like a lunatic murderer going on a killing spree to be with the most unworthy man possible.. the basic plot is flawed.. atleast they could have made Arjun worthy of all this fight..

The main problem is the makers who have no idea what to do with their show. They started off with great pomp and show and till the Arjun-Maya marriage, everything was going smoothly. Then they went ahead and murdered Ashwin. Also that pandit in Mauritius died suddenly. Then they had no idea on whom they'll pin this murders on. Then they kept showing suspects and build up everything only to make Maya the killer. Why? Because the show is supposed to be a psycho thriller. Well done CVs. Then they introduced Samay and yet again had no idea what to do with him. So they made him another bali ka bakra and finally killed him off after making him do cold blooded murder and some other disgusting things.

Now they brought back Ayaan and made him challenge Maya blah blah and finally he's almost killed by Maya. Now Saanjh will start her never ending duty of "save Arjun from Maya". I mean, for God's sake, can the CVs give atleast one of the characters some brain and make them properly build a case against Maya. How difficult can it be to find proper evidence from Maya's past if they really try to do it.

The problem with this show is all other characters except Maya are shown dumb and useless. Even Maya is shown dumb when it comes to Arjun's love. I still don't understand what she finds in Arjun that she's on a killing spree to get his love. Till date I couldn't find anything extraordinary about this guy that two beautiful, educated women are running behind him like puppies.

If the makers really wanted to make Maya a murderer then atleast give some depth to Arjun's character so that the viewers can sympathize with him. Right now he's the most irritating character along with his dusky.

Arjun and Saanjh are best friends since childhood. They always shared a strong bonding. He left her countless time for Maya. But now he had enough and he wants to make it clear with Maya that Saanjh has equal importance in his life as Maya. Maya is his pagalpanti as the woman he loves, as his wife. Saanjh is his pagalpanti as his best friend he loved since forever. I don't see where is the problem. 🤔 Just because your wife is obsessed and insecure doesn't mean you have to leave your friends.

The only problem I have is that I just hope he won't again play with Saanjh. This guy is a douche. He uses everyone. He accepts and throws people in his life as per situaton. That's disgusting. 🤢

That's the reason Saanjh should stay away from him. He can very well kick her again out of his life. So girl have some self respect. 🤢

So yeah Saanjh and Arjun should stop it but not because Maya is insecure but only to save them from each other.

so good to see some familiar people in this thread after a long time echoing the same thoughts as mine..you all pretty much summed it all and I agree with it..this show started off with a bang with a unique concept, was able to sail through fine until season 1 ended as well but after that they have completely lost it...each and every character has been ruined and butchered..I cant even root for anyone anymore..by making Maya bad and mad completely, they already had ruined any chance of redemption for her, about Saanjh and Arjun, less said the better..I can never approveof their friendship beyond a certain point, whether or not Maya is mad is out of question and if Arjun really thinks Saanjh is his paagalpan then might as well marry her instead of Maya and end this entire circus..I dont even know why I am watching this show at this point to be honest..may be I just want it to end..its super frustrating..

But what the heck is wrong with the other characters?? Saanjh is like this person who knows that there is a mad bull raging around, ready to strike down anyone who dares to comes in its path or wears the color red, but the person still insists on standing right in front of the bull wearing a red dress, challenging the bull to try and strike him/her down. The person has the option to just move away from the bulls path and save their life but if they still insist on challenging the bull to a fight then would you call that brave or stupid?? I would call that stupid. And that's what Saanjh is most of the time.

The lack of any character worth rooting for is the reason the show has gone to the dogs.

Lol really!! I think Arjun deserves to stay with Maya, forever trapped with her, just like the GG ending. Earlier I felt Arjun is not a douche like Nick and deserves better. But now he appears more frustrating. 😆

If he really loves his baby and his wife inspite of her being a psycho, he should take her away where noone else can reach her.

But he keeps Dusky with him. He doesn't even care about Dusky. His dialogues are such that he wants to have her around for his whole life, doesn't want her to move on in life, but just plays friendship friendship with him.

Though I agree he might not ever be able to see her as a life partner, and Maya is his only Junoon, but why keeping her around and giving her false hopes. And in aggrevating his wife's insecurities. 🥱

Saanjh in this season, the last 2 episodes hasn't tried to agitate Maya. She doesn't want to fight back hence she asked Ayaan to stay away. She talked in a proper way to Maya, saying Arjun won't leave her ever. That was good enough as that's the way to deal with someone like Maya

But her problem is she can't say NO to Arjun. When Arjun asked her to come to their baby shower, she should have stayed away. TBH I loved her the day when she said she will take everyone along with her and go to London. Her mom, bro, Vandana. She should do that only. Take everyone away from Arjun and Maya and let them lead their life. I know she won't get justice in this way, but at least will remain alive.

Why waste your life saving someone who doesn't even deserved to get saved!

Exactly the problem lies in the overall writing of the show. Logically , we should be sympathising with Arjun the most. He is the main victim of Maya who has suffered mental torture from her since 3 long years, yet wants to give his marriage a chance, for his love, or empathy for Maya, and now finally their baby. But due to the loose characterisation and unconvincing acting, hardly anyone sympathises with him

I was all in to support Arjun if he hadn't shown this pendulum behavior, that too now when his wife is pregnant. Even I was ok with his blind love for Maya, there are people who tend to forgive their spouses crimes, just in the name of love. But this guy doesn't have a proper stand. He forgives her crimes, yet keeps aggrevating her psychotic tendencies.

Sense and Arjun never go hand in hand. Like u said Ayaan is the person who tried to molest Maya, how can he even leave her with him.

Saanjh I think isn't getting the deserved sympathy, due to her Duffer jaap. Her motive has mostly been to save Arjun who's a guy who loves to stay with Maya even though he is aware of her being a criminal.

If she had whole heartedly fought for Ayaan's justice or justice for Prem, people would have loved her. But she has always tried to make Arjun see Maya's reality. Atleast for me that's the only reason which makes me drift away from her. In her dialogues she seeks justice for Ayan/Prem, but actions end up looking as if she wants Arjun to see the dark side of Maya.

Problem is she doesn't understand Arjun is kinda aware of all this, but is trying to cover up her crimes. Such kind of a guy, doesn't deserve to be "saved" as he doesn't want to be saved. An intelligent lawyer would have seen Arjun as Maya's accomplice but due to her emotional connection with Arjun, she always fails to see Arjun's fault, supporting a criminal is also a crime.

Btw I too would have liked to see Ayan not going behind a pregnant woman like u mentioned in your previous post. S3 with Maya already having given birth to Arjun's child would have been a better idea. But I think the makers as usual want us to sympathise with Maya as she's pregnant😆

At the end of the day, all characters/plots are butchered to justify Maya.

It was not ok to watch ayan around maya just as she came from mental asylum and evryone one is like nothing ever happened between them!! And ya on that day itself Arjun messed it up and now well maya has almost killed ayan...its so stupid and not so maya like too!!

Haha yes it's me 😛

I am not even fond of Maya. Though I like dark characters but the way Maya keeps justifying herself is irritating at times. But I love to watch her scenes, due to Jennifer's acting. And yeah I am watching the show for her only 😆

About illness , till now we just know that she's a depression patient. I have never seen someone having depression behaving in such a way. At least the makers should have shown a back story about her mental illness, at least tell us what she's suffering from exactly. Right now she looks like an evil-incarnate, sadly, never thought would use this word for her but with yesterday's episode, lost all the sympathies I ever had for her.

But that doesn't make me sympathise with someone like Arjun/Saanjh 😆

I liked Ayaan, since Season 1. The guy was truly interesting and I am rooting for him for now. Though he has his own shares of mistakes, but he's a man with a proper stand. He knows what he's doing. Just that he is stupid and inexperienced to deal with someone like Maya.

Season 3 is actually better than season 2 as we have someone to root for. That is Ayaan.
