for me that was the first positive vibe i got from this ... shivika didn't loose their essence in this lapse ... her will to fight life and his will of being a wall to all around him even if he has no one

Shivvay WAS the creator of all the happy moments in the house. Shivvay was the cause of the happiness of this house because it was Shivvay who would create happy moments in the house to keep his Family happy and smiling. The ever constant Sun that gave light and warmth to every corner of his house.

such a beautiful way to describe shivaay ... i've always felt the same ... most happy events are initiated by him and as long as he's all there then this family is a family .. not a shell

Then Annika entered the OM and soon became the cause and creator of Shivvay's happiness. She was his North Star, shining and constant, and his happiness increased a 1000 fold.

I like this Shivvay. Tender even in his pride, sensitive and strong to all that is happening around him, mature beyond words as he is seeing life with a whole new perspective that the woman he loves has taught him. and most of all he is completely in control of his life and what he wants from it. He does not need 'Sahara' and 'a shoulder to cry on' because the memories of his Annika are enough to make him face his day.

i liked him a lot too ... they say pain shows u the real face of life ... i have to say the lack of denial to his inner dilemma is very refreshing ... he's sensitive regarding Annika and he's angry that she still effects him but he's not in denial

he didn't go all devdas or casanova ... he has proven his strength of character that would have been demolished if he became one of those two ...love has made him weak in a strong way ... he's not crying in a corner or trying to get over Annika ...he's strong enough to face reality ... weak enough to be broken at the mention of her

so glad he showed he has a strength to live with pain & go through it everyday

He plucks the memories of 'His Annika' like glistening ornaments from his 'Tree of Life' and caresses them for comfort. He still lives every moment of his life with her even when he is not physically with her. How can Annika ever be separated from the man who is alive and breathes only because he lives with her memories like they are 'shots of oxygen'.

both of them have reached that stage i feel ... living but not alive & i like it ... anyother way wouldn't make them shivaay and Annika

But you are 100% correct, such a scene would validate what and who Shivvay is really feeling and how he is really coping.
I too feel that the track was hastily changed and re written so his quiet time in his room might start when he first bumps into her again ... this way they still have time to shoot that at the time when his past memories being to gel with the present new ones.
She yelled at him for jumping the queue the first time and this time I feel she will yell at someone else for jumping the queue while he was standing in it ..lol

So we see Shivvay smiling secretly in his room when he is alone as he plucks the ornament that has the old memory and ties it with the new one, hanging them both up as one now on his 'Tree of Life' 😛
