Like I had said that staying abroad does impact our immune system, making it used to the cleaner environ and when we are exposed to the uncleanliness sorts, its takes a toll on our health. But I am happy all is well. I will be honest, when U had said you were throwing up, I hadn't ruled out hospitalisation. Pls take care dear. 😳
Ah, I caught up the promo earlier and done with the bits of reading the response too. The promotions and the marketing strategy from SP is spot on, aint it why they are using the Rabba Ve and IPKKND title. The top of the mind recall has been hit well and needless to say, a love story/ love-hate story always ' strikes a chord with the younger target audience sooner than the TRP ones. That said, the direction, the lightening, the acting from Mr. Sobti was brilliant. And from the third promo, the temple one, gotta see ST's expressions and I would say she does not disappoint at all. I want to say that she has lived upto the expectations, but I think its a bit too early. And while I do know Shivani Shirali, the designer's fetish for OTT clothes, I think ST's look in the earlier promo was decent as against the hideous dress here. Sigh, ST is a beautiful girl and I wish they had given her better costumes. Anyway, after IB I dont expect much. 😆
Coming to this promo, I am with the majority (since the reviews say it too) who feel that the temple promo and Barun's solo promos were better. This one is very good standalone, no two ways there. But my problem is that the built-up is missing. And no I am not cribbing I am just a highly expectant viewer of Gul Khan 😆. So Chandni is the evil for Advay and we have the Dussehra connotation after the temple connotation here. Advay's revenge has been established as not misguided as destruction of Ravana and his burning Chnadni in temple is symbolic to that. The symbolism of burning rage with fire is bang on too. See, this is what I like about GK, the layered script. My only problem is this looked like a more extended version to earlier promo. I wanted more insight into the lives of the leads or a glimpse of Hindutva that could be eye-catching for the TRP viewers at large, something like that has been the case with the magnum opus AARAMBH. Or maybe, my expectations are getting ahead of me, what with the brilliant marketing and the hype around the show. Nevertheless, I am intrigued and I am definitely catching this one. 👍🏼
PS In case I dint mention this, there is palpable chemistry between the leads. GK never goes wrong with her casting.
