Siddhant POV:

We reached the home town...

We took blessings of elders...

The house was busy with all relatives...

Yes.. being Swetha was our relative our house was filled as well with all relatives...

We took fresh up and had food...

'How about roaming around to see the place???' i asked Roli...

'Sure Sir... we can...' she said...

'Roli... as i asked permission for calling you as Roli.. i wish you too call me Siddhant in front of others.. Sir is giving different image...' i said...

'Ok Sir.. sorry... Siddhant...' she said...

'Lets go..' i said with a smile...

OMG... i feel great when she call me by my name...

When she was calling Sir... it was like i am old man and she is some small girl or bossy type...

On calling my name.. i feel close to my heart...

Is she... i feel yes... i feel her close to my heart...

I dont know what that feeling is about...

We went out to roam around...

She liked the place a lot and was walking with me looking around...

'This place is beautiful...; she said...

'Yes it is... Happy that you like it...' i said...

'You comes here often!!!; she asked...

'Not exactly... as we are always held up with works... we comes here in such occasions only...' i said...

I showed her our field...pond.. temple...

She was looking at everything with all interest...

We went inside temple...

Priest gave prasad...

We took the prasad and went around once praying to God...

I just prayed to God to enlighten me the feelings i am having towards her...

Yes.. i really dont know what i exactly feel for her...

After roaming around.. we finally reached back home...

'Siddhant & Roli... Get ready...' my grand mother said...

All were already ready...

There was engagement function of Swetha late evening...

Mother gave us a cover...

'Wear this new Sherwani & Lehanga...' my mother said...

'We purchased for marriage right...' i said...

'Do what we say... Go & wear.. we are getting late...' my mother said...

We wonder what is happening & went to get ready...

In a while i got ready & came out...

After a while.. Roli came out wearing the beautiful Lehenga...

I bet she will be looking beautiful if she go for a makeover...

I dont know why she is not interested for that...

Anyways.. we started form home & reached the hall...

Swetha & her fiance were already there in the stage...

They exchanged rings...

'Siddhant.. Roli.. Come to stage...' my grand mother said...

I wonder why they are calling us to stage...

We went to stage with puzzled expression..

We are made to stand in the middle... while Swetha & her fiance moved to side with other relatives...

My mother gave us rings...

'Mom.. whats happening???' i asked her...

'Engagement...' she said...

'What???' i was shocked & looked at Roli who was shocked as well...

'Today its not only engagment of Swetha.. its also of you both...' my grand mother said...

'But you didn't even tell us about it...' i said...

'We wanted to surprise you...' my mother said...

OMG.. whats happening...

'Time is going...Exchange rings...' my grand mother said...

I know we are trapped...

May be they doubt that we are faking.. thats why arranged for this engagement without informing us...

I forward my hand with ring giving apologetic look towards Roli...

She might have understood the situation...

She foward her hand while i slide the ring on her finger...

OMG.. how soft her hand is... i felt like holding velvet...

She forward her hand with the ring while i forward my hand...

Roli slide the ring on my finger...

All clapped for us...

In a while 2 set of cakes were kept in front of us & Swetha with her fiance...

They cut the cake & feed each other...

Roli & myself too cut the cake & feed each other...

All congratulated us...

OMG.. now i am engaged to Roli in front of all lot of Relatives & Friends...

We got down from the stage...

My parents & grand mother too got down from stage...

I was not interested to make a scene in front of others...

'mataji... Dad.. mom.. i wish to talk to you 3...' i said...

They agreed and we went inside a room...

I locked the door and looked at Roli & then towards elders...

'What all these arrangements without even telling us...' i said...

'Siddhant.. you both love each other & got engaged.. what is big deal...' my grand mother said...

'But still we need to be informed right...' i said...

'Look.. Roli confirmed she is single on her family... So only our relatives are required.. thats why we arranged... you both are working together and already talks are going on in the office about you too which is not good for her anyway... After marriage... you both decide whether she is going to work or will recruit someone else... whatever... ;' my grandmother said...

'I believe you all arranged thinking i am faking to avoid Swetha right...' i asked..

'Whatever be the thing... you both declared as loving each other & now also got engaged... why to discuss about other things...' my grand mother said...

'OMG... is these arrangements stopping with engagement or also marriage...' i asked...

'Of course marriage as well... you both are getting married tomorrow..' my mother said...

I was shocked & looked at Roli...

She was standing speechless as well...

'Let me talk to Roli alone...' i said...

Elders went out leaving us privacy...

I locked the door and looked at Roli...

'Roli.. i am sorry.. i dont know about these arrangements...' i said...

'I know you are not aware... but what are we going to do now...' she asked...

'I really dont know... i am confused.. i was not expecting this...' i said...

'Well.. lets tell them the truth and break up the engagement... anyway Swetha is engaged & getting married tomorrow...' she said...

Break up of engagement!!! OH no...' i said...

'But you decided for that only right to break up with me once known to family...' she said...

'Now everyone knows and got engaged in front of all.. its not right to break up now...' i said...

'Why you worry for others... do whatever is ok for you...' she said...

'OMG... i never thought we will come to this situation...' i said...

'Nothing is serious even now.. Take this engagement ring and tell them...;' she said and tried to take the ring from her finger..

I swiftly hold her hand from doing that...

'No Roli... dont break the engagemet...' i said...

'What do you mean??? you want to do this for others... which i am not interested...' she said...

'No Roli... i am not telling for others... i cant bear you breaking this engagment...' i said still holding her hand...

'This was deal you made with me right.. you wanted me to act & i did that... now its not meaningful in getting hurt in break up...' she said and removed the engagement ring...

I closed my eyes while i realised she kept the ring on my hand...

'Why did you do this??? No Roli... i am not doing this for others.. i wanted to get engaged with you...' i said...

'What???' she asked with a puzzle...

'Yes Roli... Let me confess... i dont want to break up this... you know how bad i feel to break up... i want you Roli...' i said...

'Are you kidding... how come you got feeling with someone you made a deal...' she asked...

' I agree.. i made deal with you and bring you here... but it doesn;t mean i dont have feeling for you... i got feeling for you Roli...' i said...

She looked deep into my eyes...

'You cant be serious right... Girl like me is ok for working.. but its about marriage & i am not beautiful princess for you to hold my hand Siddhant...' she said...

'I dont mind Roli... i want you.. Please dont break up...' i said...

'Are you sure to make this ugly girl as your life partner???' she asked again...

'Yes i do...' i said...

'Are you expecting to go for a make over to turn me beautiful??? what if make over doesn't work out???' she asked...

'I dont want you to go for any make over... i am ready to accept you as you are... Please accept me Roli...' i requested again...

'Please take some time.. we will wait here for 1 more hour... think well... then tell me... till such time i will sit there... but remember there should not be any regret later... ' she said and sat on the sofa in the room...

I went near window...

I remembered every moment between us since we meet...

I can only realise there was building up of feeling towards her...

I cant let her go...

I dont want this break up...

There is no regrets... There is no go back... There is no rethink...

After an hour... i looked at her while she came near me...

'What you decided... i think its to proceed with break up right...' she said...

I smiled and went on a knee in front of her...

'Roli.. i love you.. will you marry me???' i asked with love confession...

It took a moment for her to come back to normal as she was showing shocked & surprised expression...

'Yes i will marry you...' she said...

I got up and slide the ring again on her finger...

We looked at each other...

I wrapped my hand around her & pulled her towards me...

She lean on my shoulder...

I closed my eyes to feel her closeness...
