Siddhant POV:
I reached house... parked the car...
We got down from the car and started walking inside the house...
I can see all were in the hall talking to each other...
All the eyes looked at us when we entered into the house...
As soon as seeing Roli... All the face expressions changed...
When we near them...
'This is Roli divedi...; i introduced her to everyone...
I can see a shock on everyone face...
'Is this the girl you love???' my grand mother with a widened eyes in shock...
'This was the girl who was inside the cabin when i came right...' this was shwetha...
'yes... she was there.. without knowing about she is the one you were talking to me...' i said to Swetha...
Roli took blessings of all the elders...
'Shall we start with dinner...' i said to avoid the eyes with disgusting look towards her...
We went to dining and myself & Roli sat beside each other...
Food was served and we started having...
'Siddhant... I hope you are not kidding...' my grand mother said...
'Yes Siddhant... this is life & not joke... are you serious...' my mother said...
'I dont get you both.. what do you mean by this???' i asked...
'We cant believe this is the girl you are in love...' my mother explained...
'Yes i am... but i wonder why you all are so much in disbelief...' i asked...
'Its because... we never thought you will select someone with this look against Swetha who looks so beautiful...' my grand mother said...
I know they will comment about her look...
I looked at Roli while she was having dinner without any different expression...
'I think its not good to pass comment on someone about their look like this...' i said...
'We might have not if she was just your office staff... but it bothers when you bring her not only as your lover... but also our daughter in law to this house...' my mother said...
'You dont know how efficient.. intelligent... sincere... honest... etc.. she is... its bad to criticise about someone with just look...' i said...
'Again... all these are ok when its just for office staff... but not as life partner...' my mother said...
'Siddhant... i thought she will be beauty of this world when you selected someone instead of me.. now i am surprised as well...' Swetha said...
'Its too bad you all are concerned only about the look while i am concerned about everything else other than look...' i said...
Sometime went in silence...
Dinner finished and we went back to hall...
'Why i am feeling like you are telling lie to avoid Swetha...' my grand mother said...
'ITs upto you whether you believe or not... but its the fact that we love each other...' i said...
'Well.. if you are so stubborn about your love with her... we cant do anything with that...' my mother said...
'Thanks mom... you finally understood...' i said...
'Swetha.. i think there is no of waiting anymore... lets proceed with the other alliance which we plan for you instead of waiting for Siddhant...' my grand mother said...
I felt breathe of relief...finally they gave up...
'Your name is Roli right...' my grand mother said...
'Yes.. i am Roli...' Roli said...
'How about your parents???' my grand mother asked...
'They are not alive...i am alone in the family...' Roli said...
'Well Roli... As Siddhant is no more interested on Swetha.. we are arranging her marriage with other guy we planned and Marriage will be in our hometown in couple of weeks... Wish you too come with Siddhant for the marriage...' my grand mother said...
'But work will be there in the office...' Roli said...
'Let it be.. work will always be there.. you all have mobile.. laptop.. everything now to handle from anywhere and i dont think its an excuse...' my grand mother said...
'Ok.. Sure...' Roli said with a smile...
'I think she is getting late to return... ' i said...
Roli waved bye to everyone and we came out...
'I will go myself...' Roli said...
'No way i will send you alone.. i will drop you...' i said...
When she tried to deny.. i stopped her...
'No excuses.. please come...' i said...
We started in the car...
On the way i looked at Roli...
'Thanks Roli... you helped me to get rid of Swetha...' i said...
Its ok.. i just did a small help which i can...' she said...
'Sorry for their comments about you...' i said...
'Its not new anyway.. its ok as well...' she said with a smile...
'I wonder how you take everything so easy...' i said...
'Life teach you lessons...' i said...
By now we reached her hostel...
Today i dropped her till the gate of her hostel...
She got down and went inside...
I was looking at her till she fade from my vision...
I started returning remembering myself telling supporting her to my family...
None of those are lie...
Other than look.. there is nothing one can tell about...
