We entered into the hotel & occupied the seat where table was booked...
After lunch we discussed for a while..
Siddhant POV:
There is a customer meet...
ROli have taken appointment to meet with him today for lunch...
'Sir... table is booking in the hotel... for the meeting with the customer...' ROli said...
'Oh Good... Then there will be no need for me to wait for getting the table.. Thanks for that...' i said...
'Its my work and i just did my duty...' she said...
Roli is really surprising me...
As she said.. after clearing her backlog work on her joining.. she started finishing the mails even before lunch hour...
After having lunch, she use her time productively to make new customer appointments... Checking with the existing customers... And lot more which can support my work...
In that same way... she didn't stop just taking appointment with customer.. but also booked table in the hotel...
I got up taking my bag...
When i came out Roli was doing something in the system...
'Ms. Roli.. have you got any urgent work to be attended...' i asked...
'Nothing sir.. as usual i cleared the works already...' she replied...
'Why cant you join us in the lunch...' i asked...
'But Sir.. i got my lunch already...' she said...
'Dont worry about that...' i said & called office assistant...
When office assistant entered into the place...
'You can take or give whoever want or didn't bring lunch Ms. Roli's lunch box...' i said and took the lunch bag from Roli & gave him..
He took the box with a smile...
'Come.. lets go...' i said...
Roli & Myself went to my car...
We started towards the hotel...
'Sir.. i think i was not required... ' she said...
'How come.. you are my secretary... it will be good if you are there in the meeting.. infact i think you need to come with me for all the meetings...' i said...
She just smiled...
In few minutes of drive.. we reached the hotel...
We entered into the hotel & occupied the seat where table was booked...
I made her to sit beside me as customer will be sitting opposite to us...
when we were waiting for them... i felt myself disturbed...
OMG.. this girl is distracting me just being close to me...
I wonder whether she owns magnetic field around her to attract me...
I looked at her.. but she was looking just normal unlike me madly feeling restless...
I drink some water to cool me down...
I heard foot steps towards us and lift my face to look...
'Hi.. i am Yogesh...' customer introduced himself and forward his card to me...
'Hi.. I am Siddhant...' i introduced myself and gave my card...
We shake our hands gently...
'Please take your seat...' i said showing the table opposite to mine...
'Thank you...' he said and sat on the seat giving a glance towards Roli...
When he saw her.. i can see some sort of disgusting expression on his face...
I didn't like at the way he was looking at Roli...
'What will you have...' i asked him to divert his attention from her...
We ordered the lunch and wait for it to get delivered...
Then we started talking on the biz terms...
But often.. his eyes were looking towards Roli who was sincerely taking notes about the discussions we were making..
I tried to keep him engaged in the discussion to avoid his eyes towards her...
Suddenly he interrupt me...
'Mr. Siddhant... shall i ask you something...' he said...
'Of course what it is...' i asked...
'I really wonder what this girl is doing beside you like handsome guy...' he asked...
'Excuse me...' i frowned...
'I mean... Dont you find any beautiful or atleast tolerable girl in this city to bring out for lunch...' he asked...
'Mr. Yogesh.. i think we have come here to discuss on the biz and not about the girl with me.. Moreover she is not my girl friend or any date.. She is my Secretary who is doing her work.. Hope you mind your words when talking about some one which may hurt the concern...' i said...
It was hard enough to control my temper and tell him that soft when he was talking like that about Roli in front of her face...
I looked at Roli and found her still having a neutral face...
This girl is really strange or what... i dont know how to judge her...
How can she be like this when she has been commented by someone so harsh & rude in front of her face...
'I am sorry... i didn't mean to hurt...' Mr. Yogesh said...
Not sure whether he said that apology with heart or not...
But without that sorry.. i might have decided not to handle any biz with him...
'Its ok...' i said as acknowledgement and continued the biz talk...
Lunch was served and we started having it...
Discussions continued and almost its finalised...
After lunch we discussed for a while..
Then he said being pleased with the offer and told he will send mail about the new order...
We shake our hands again formally and he started from there...
Myself & Roli started walking towards car...
'Sorry.. i only insist to come with me & you are subjected to such insult...' i said...
'I told my answer for such comments already Sir...' she said with a smile...
'Yes.. i know... Anyway... i am not like you to handle all these... ' i confess...
'I say that.. you told staffs in their face as well as to this customer... what if you lose biz because of this...' she asked...
'I am least bothered... i am not going to bear all their behaviour just because for getting their biz... I believe in decent biz than doing what they expect...' i burst out the emotions which was suppressed on him while i was replying him soft...
We reached the car and Roli took the water bottle...
'Have some water Sir... just relax..' she said with a smile...
I drink water looking at her...
We started from hotel back to office...
