I think this will be addressed in the future by Shivaay himself. Meri family... Meri family... His entire family played him like a bagpipe today. This was probably needed to break his blind faith and biasness when it comes to his family. His family has always been exclusive for him. Even Annika couldn't break in to that club. He himself is gonna break it when he finds out the truth.
