My favourite author is Ayn Rand because I read her not for the stories but for the philosophy that has shaped me
Favourite movie ...do not have one ... there are just too many that I liked
Favourite singer --- Kishore Kumar (he is my God)
I like Arijit Singh too
Alicia keys , Micheal Bolton , 3 Graces , I like them all, par favourite is Shania Twain
Best experience on IF -- it is a great place to make friends and discover people using supposedly inconsequential thing like a TV show ... so I have friend(s) people I would have never ever come across had it not been for IF
When we read each others post , go wow or laugh it is a huge experience
I have to say being on ZKM forum is my best experience of IF
I was active on only one other prior to this and others I followed almost as a silent reader but never for more 2-3 months
The quality of interaction here is really high

Hey Tibs, I have the same question that I have been asking you repeatedly - When are you going to quit your day job and take up writing for living? 😊 You don't have to quit either, you could do it alongside. I am sure you will find many here happy to be your sounding board, proof readers etc...so, go for it soon girl!

1) The fact that I can truly say that whatever I have achieved in life , it may not be too much but it is purely through my hard work and( some ) brains ... no short cuts , no favours ever

5) 15th August 1947 ..: I would like to feel how did my countrymen feel to be independent after two centuries of colonial rule ... I would like to go out on street and feel what it means to witness birth of a new nation ... there are some many sad stories too attached with that moment due to partition but I would like to know what were those hopes of our great grand parents and grand parents with india and have we been able to achieve some of those

You can say more than one thing if you wish.

1) oh you are so right about this . Let me see I will start with
A) the continuity ... character are they grey, black or white it keeps changing
Facts change - mom/ stepmom, age and numbers change, characters vanish
B) the fact that they keep tarnishing their ML
C) none of the characters ever keep their word --/ the dialogues: promises do not mean anything
D) FL spine keeps fluctuating
E) most of all I wish it was produced by someone else --- I have serious trust issues on that front
2) I can go on about that too
A) Corruption
B) civic sense of Indians
C) disregard for law and rules
D) cleanliness
E) sense of privilege and entitlement of the rich and those in power
F) Poverty
G) low literacy rates

But I believe if I could change C every thing else will fall in place

So Karela posts is when I am behaving like Karela ,being sarcastic and kind of calling a spade a spade
Laddoo posts are when I am truly complimenting what I saw ., and hence am being sweet.. which is why they are so rare ...

1) that he is a self made man
2) that he does every thing in extreme
3) yes I cook ... many things... difficult to name one ... gajar ka halwa, paneer jalfrezi, sookha kathal, dal makhani, mushrooms and spring onions bhurji, Spanish omelette
Dahi bada , kulcha mattar and I experiment also a lot if I get time
My daughter likes my idli sambhar
4) my temper gets better of me sometimes...and then I regret( I become Shaurya Khanna)
