Kattappa is a character that has his own highlight for being honest to his role as a nobleman bound to the throne.. If he had broken that honesty then he's not what the character is defined to be.. And this mix is what makes him the emotionally and principally bound man.. If only he's taken out of the slavery mode to think beyond that principle to see between right and wrong by people.. 😃

I wanted this movie to show foster or biological son, they are the same. And after BB1, this is what I thought would happen as well...

From the beginning we knew that Sivagami was going to be grey! At least me! So I was ready.. Not much expectation..

But from where I see! Sivagami knew that the throne was rightfully both Bhalla's and Amarandra's!

Because both are the sons of kings! If only Bijjala was physically well, then Bhalla would have been the straight heir.

So Sivagami thought of giving both of them a chance to prove themselves worthy of the throne that she had been protecting all this time. And she found Amarendra as peopleman while bhalla not. So she stood by what is good to the kingdom.

But with the arrival of Devasena, she saw a rebellion in Amarendra while her son was nonchalant about Devasena! So she switched! thinking this is what is good for the Empire.

As per the rules, Devasena was arrested and Sivagami was waiting for the trial to finish to decide on judgement when Amarendra again rebelled. And at last when she sees that the King was attacked, and she had proofs that pointed to Amarendra, she executed orders for his death! without organizing mantri samavesam..

But when it came Bhalla, she wanted the execution to be public because she knew that his mask should be stripped in public.. while with Amarendra she knew that public execution will lead to Rebellion that is again not good for MAahishmati..

Amarendra was the RIGHT while Sivagami was RULES!

when both go hand in hand, it will do good. but when they are separated, they are dangerous!

And i'm not saying she is right..she did some very big mistakes in blind rage..her pride took blow every time she confronted deva..adding petrol to her prideful flame..bijjala's ear eating didn't help her either..the moment there was attack on bhalla..she saw red..she stopped thinking as queen and was only thinking as a mother who wants to keep her son safe.
