2 days passed by. She just left a message that she reached Bareilly. After that she didn't call. He didn't want to disturb her. Omkaara was tired after a hectic day. He was busy with back to back assignments and meeting with some executives. His work kept him focused til now but the emptiness of the room was evident. Her usual dew drop face was missing, chirpiness of the voice, anticipation of seeing him in the evening all were missing. This is strange. He always was a loner, who loved to deluge into his artistic space. Even when he was in relationship with Ridhima, it was a long distance one, she hardly used to be there. He never felt empty, though he used to miss her. He had issues with personal space when she was trying to live in with him. But with Gauri it was a stark contrast. It was he, who used to pull her into his space. She was pretty much the same from the beginning, even she was chulbul, when she came before the truth, after the truth.. She was the same. She always kept him as her first priority. She was there for every smallest of thing he wants. Even as a child he never received much attention from his parents, as they were busy in their own problems. He had never felt special. Instead he was preoccupied in solving his mothers issue, protecting his siblings.. But she made him feel special which no one has ever managed to do.. The attention that he got from her, was new to him. He was apprehensive for first few times, but slowly a portion of the heart which was craving for it, was becoming happy. She was undemanding, selfless and clear with her emotions. She would give in a when he touches her, but she will be the one to stop when he advances more.

Someone knocked at the door. It was a help.

"Sir, aap ki badaam milk" He kept and went away.

She isn't there but her thoughts are here. She just left a message that she had reached and that she will talk to him once he has decided, so that he can think without anything disturbance.

He wanted to call her but restrained to do so since she doesn't want it. String of questions she raised came into his mind. "Kya aap mujhe aap ki aane waale kal mein dekh sakthe.. aap ki patni ke roop se.. aap ki bachon ki maa ki roop se..?" He thought about his mother. She is from a unchi khandaan.. She is learned, talented and everything that is required in a ideal women. She loves his father despite all his shortcomings. But his father is a monster to have not realized the selfless love that she still has on him. Gauri is on the same lines, May be she is not as learned and from a high society, but she loves him unconditionally. She thinks about him more than anything else on this world. May be her background is not so rich may not change, but other things could still change if she wishes so. Despite all this shortcomings, she has managed to work and bear her expenses on her own. For a woman to work, it doesn't matter is she is learned or not. It's just the determination to work that matters. He can help her definitely with her education, if she wishes so. He owes her this much, atleast actually much more.

He was thinking about his own perspective. How come he is feeling so peaceful and so want to be in this marriage? He admitted himself to be commitment phobic, when he was with Ridhima. He hadn't even proposed to her at that time. This time he is married to Gauri. But he hasn't felt any sort of pressure or any discomfort being in a married relationship. May be because she never kept any conditions on him, that he should accept the marriage. "She knew me very well, than I thought" Omkaara thought.

A visual came across his mind, about him and Gauri playing with a child. He smiled at the visual about how they were struggling to soothe a crying child. "Sweet", he thought. Life has brought her to him only to save him. If they weren't married, she wouldn't have come very close to him as CB and he had to end up marrying Svetlana. He would have become a living disaster. She is his angel, who redeemed his life with her tiny hands. His father's affair with Svetlana wouldn't have ended, had she not exposed Svet. Even thought their marriage is still not in right terms, atleast the rocking surface has gone. His mother is at much better state than she was. His own soul has started to heal after the depressing phase. All because of this one girl, his girl, his GAURI.

Omkaara stood up. He so badly wanted to talk to her, she told not to. He respected her decision. A thought came to his mind. He went near his canvas took his brush. There is no better way for him to express his longing than to do this..

At the end of 4 long hours, beautiful painting of a smiling, doe shaped Gauri was standing before him.
