like you mentioned, it was too much to accept, because the writers again brought back the shivika we all can actually connect to.

both actually talked, shared their innermost fears and the way both promised to each other made sense more today than previous two weeks, what the heck... since Mahi's introduction nothing in shivikaland actually made much sense😆( at least to me, was watching on and off just for Narbhi/Shivika)

but today was really a beautiful episode, it was a normal episode in IBland and shivikaland😳

However( yes i know😆), the more SSO reassured her, the more i thought something bad will happen or even if nothing bad happens, at least this 'ped' will be shaken a lot.

Personally, no matter what this week brings, even if separation track ( which i doubt because it's no longer an option to leave her now), but we are still in between, kuch bhi ho sakta hein.. and as they both said, their journey will take a long time

Lovely post AY

Thanks, Felicity😆

@bold: Completely understandable...lol we've been burnt so many times by the flips from the writers ki jab itna achha stuff milta hai, toh there is a wariness of something bad being around he corner😆...but aaj ek genuinely different sense aaya from Shivaay's determination and reassurances...ek sense aaya that they want to explore the story in terms of keeping Shivika together as a unit in the face of any odds...so let's see if they go ahead with that track rather than lame MUs...haha

It was such a nice episode...well written and executed. Though I was surprised that this all is going in front of two criminals and a police officer but then it was the situation...so surroundings didn't matter to them..

Again it's not going to be a TRP booster episode but for the ones who are looking for a nice story ...this is gold.

+100...LOL this is definitely not a TRP booster epi but for me, it was a fabulous episode...the kind we rarely get with IB these days...the arc was so beautifully closed today, totally beyond my expectations...and to see Shivika communicating so poignantly...whatever the reason, glad the writers decide to give us such an epi in the midst of all the other senseless stuff they pull😆

AY, you did such a splendid job! Word to all that you said, writers did such a brilliant job today. Shivaay was so clear and truthful, I was absolutely amazed. The conversation was meaningful and the journey bit like you said, him saying it'll be a process of change and it'll happen but with time, was so perfect. And Nakuul was so convincing, just didn't seem like a dialogue being delivered. Anika's fear of what could happen was done well, made sense why she was so against the idea of him digging into her past.

I absolutely appreciate conversations like these, keeping it real and nothing ott😊

And the song on the champa ride, it was a nice one, good and happy vibes👏 Him hiding his face was super cute and teling to wear the helmet properly was aww. I love these guys

Writers, thanks!! When they nail it, they really nail it🤗

lol at you falling in love with them, how have you not already?!

And can the other cast members come back already, OM looked so empty with just Pinky sitting there😆

LOL it's cuz they've been fun, goofy, mad, cheesy, sweet and all that before...but today's scenes had a different quality to them...a different shade to them that touched my heart like they haven't managed to before this :)

Conversations like this are my fav. thing and so veryyy rare on TV...so I get extra happy when I get to see scenes like this😆

Re: post...thanks for the appreciation, Traw :)

Absolutely. How he is riding it for the first time, and he is trying. For her.

I absolutely loved how the metaphor was first established in the intense scene first and was continued in the breezy scooter ride scene that followed. It is a rarity that the episode comes full circle like this.

Honestly dialogues, screenplay- everything was A-game today. Aaj Harneet ki sau gustakhiyaan maaf.😳😆

@blue: So.Much.Word😆...that is why I was in disbelief if I was really watching IB😆

hahaha Harneet ki 100 galtiyaan maaf toh hum kar dein par phir woh tadi mein bolegi, tum log hote kaun ho meri galtiyaan maaf karne waale...if you don't like it, don't watch it😆😆

What a treat today's episode was right AY? I loveeeddd it. I loved reading ur reviews. I loved all the dialogues you pointed out and more.

The way he handled Pinky today was again a treat. The way shivaay has opened up to Annika is amazing. I like how he has such patience with her, he finds a way to reach out to her, be it any topic.. he finds a way to put his point accross to her..
Just love the maturity and patience he has shown this week in handling his wife. Same with annika.
I love the direction the story is heading too. Hope trp donot take a toll and writers get to show what they are set out to ..

Layered writing is a challenge. Sometimes the real story gets lots in all this layering of story telling. What comes across in the initial watch, is not the end of all.. more uncovering from writers side and understanding from viewers side is required. Messages in a scene gets lost if the scene is not executed properly..

In that way, I am very happy harneet gave us avery direct episode today. Gave us a meaningful mature convo that all viewers can connect to and enjoy the story of Shivika much more..

Thank you for this thread AY. As always appreciate your inputs.

@bold: Layered writing is always welcome, in fact VERY welcome...lol...I love uncovering layers of meaning to the scenes but execution of the layers is the real challenge for the makers...what may be layered on paper can totally be lost if not executed properly vis a vis direction, acting and editing...and vice versa, all the great direction/acting can't salvage something that is convoluted on paper to begin with...so if they want to put across a layered message, they need to keep a tight grip on the reigns and make sure it gets executed the way they intend it to or they just look confused until they manage to deliver a coherent episode like today's😆

I like your point about his patience with her these days too...even I have been noticing it and that's what I've been finding very sweet...he's always struggled with expressing himself and usually he's lacked patience with trying to figure out a way to communicate with her via words...but these days his concerted effort is very visible in terms of trying to change that...persevering in trying to get his point across...he really has opened up to her at long last in the true sense...and his resolve about ensuring that he now fills her life with joy feels like one he's determined to keep...even in the face of her frustrating and exasperating him😆

And what can i say about Pannika - She is downright adorable. Flinging her legs out and enjoying the joy ride with Pati in the passenger side and obviously telling him to 'just chill and relax'

Haha I loved how she was doing that...and I would have loved to hear what Billu was grumbling about as he kept gesturing for her to drive properly on the road😆😆...quite a role reversal from the way she's always telling him to drive the car properly but he doesn't listen to her and ends up speeding.

And the role reversal offscreen was in the back of my mind too😆...Anika ho ya SC...driver's seat mein ya side-car mein, she was busy "whoo-ing" her way through the drive both times😆

This is really the ShivIka I wanted to see ❤️ By this point, they seem to be pros at these kind of transitions...LOL I'm always amazed at the emotional range they manage to traverse in their scenes...so poignant and then back to full on bickering...without going into slapstick mode...I've always liked that about them.

PS: I am like drop dead tired and it's about 3 am here but there is definitely going to be a HUGE rambling gushing fangirly post on AAA tomorrow on the other thread tomorrow... BUT I have to say this...I totally get what everyone meant about there being SO many references throughout IB! Can't believe I had missing out on this 😆😆 Haha chalo better late than never...will look forward to reading your fangirling over AAA...and there are plenty of references to catch, sprinkled throughout the journey of IB😆

@Bold: So true about SC gul mam also said that she is like annika in real life too, full of live.
I love this girl so much yaar. Inher offscreen bytes I feel so much positivity around her.

Offscreen she was saying bye to one uncle and he didnt listen so she again called bye uncle 😆😆
