If RPS goes, Maharashtra still have MI, but I don't want Gujarat to lose out their team. Why not have 9 teams? I'll admit 10 is too many - we saw that when we had Kochi & Pune Warriors.

That makes it 8 teams, not 7. Given that everyone plays everyone else and that there are no groups, the number itself ain't an issue. What is an issue is that when you have too many teams, the newest teams have a tough time attracting top players - particularly Indian players.

For this RCB innings, I think Gayle should open w/ Travis, and let Virat back 1 down, like he does in 50/50s

Watto was a good bowler for Australia in his prime, on non sub-continent pitches. Not in India, except for a brief time w/ RR.

Kohli should have given that over to Chahal. The total would have been something b/w 120-130. Not 138.

RCB's remaining games are against KKR & DD. The KKR game is totally inconsequential, probably won't even tough the fringe sides like DD or KXIP. The DD game will be like this one, where DD will have to win to get into the last 4. Advantage for that game is that since that will be the last, DD will know exactly what they need to do to qualify, or even if they can.
