If Abhi was anyway going to marry Tanu, why did he confess. He could have easily left like he was going per the usual plan and hidden his feelings about Pragya and just had a nice talk with her as to how she should start looking for a new job and start leading a new life since she already had been open to him about working for Tanu after marriage and he knows how both Tanu and Aalya will insult her.

But her never did this, but instead confessed his love, that he cannot live without her and then at at the same breath telling her to forget him and not to meet him so that he wants to start a new life with TAnu and start loving her.

The cvs have completely torn Abhi's character to pieces. Already they have made him sedentary with him not doing anything about the various murder attempts on Pragya and other things happening around, even the fire attempt in his own house. Now, they have destroyed his character. The way he treated Pragya was so selfish, even when she locked herself in the dressing room, he was worried about her ending up their last meeting like this, think he wanted her to stand and listen to his rants about his future life with TAnu. How cruel can he be. And also got scared that she might committ suicide but had no real concern when he said that, even thought of calling Tanu for help. So, his heart has decided her to be just a secretary, he had lost even the rights of best friend. He had pulled her down to the level of a mere employee who needs to be warned off and sent off from work for loving him since he wanted to start his life with Tanu.

I feel now the villain is Dadi now. Sarla maa as a true mother had advised Pragya to carry on which any mother concerned about her daughter will be, she was almost killed many times, the last few times Sarla maa was not even informed. After the jail incident itself she had taken her daughter back but Abhi had brought her back. So, now Dadi should not have gone and interfered.

She should have stopped the marriage by staging heart attack drama, like TAnu's mom's cancer scare and made Abhi cancel the wedding. She can ask the doctor to inform Abhi that she is stressed about the wedding and needs time to adjust to it, so to put off the wedding for now.

But has other plans which is going to put Pragya into further misery. Poor Sarla maa, she has lost her daughter to a very selfish husband and grandmother.

If anything, the only defence I can see for it is that he was doing it preemptively; he wanted to make sure the ground was set clear between them just in case she turned around and got possessive ex girlfriend on him during or after the marriage. But even if he was doing it preemptively, the way he did it was wrong, hurtful, and immature. You don't need an anvil to kill an ant. Any old rock will do.

Mina, I can't even defend him doing it preemptively. She did absolutely nothing, said absolutely nothing. It is more like he is reassuring himself about how he is going to move on. But what an insensitive thing to say to the person you just dumped. I agree, this would have been more appropriate if he unloaded with daadi and told her how he plans to move on but to her, reiterating again and again🤢 What is the need?

I like what Shanaya said in one of her posts, if he considers himself so honest, prinicipled and dil ke sachha and whatever else, he should really tell the 🤬 all this. That is the one who needs to know his reality, not Pragya who is getting dumped. From his vantage point, why should Pragya care to know how he plans to move on and how it is his duty to love the 🤬 ?

So much for being a sensitive person😡

Now as he is meandering around trying to see who he can enlist to help Pragya out of that closet, I want her to come out and get the hell out of his sight by the time he comes back. Why should he have the satisfaction of seeing how much she is hurting for him? 😈

The only good thing about abhi s speech was him asking her not to see him again after his marriage. That is the best thing to happen to Pragya but she will never realise it😊.

Also I cud not figure out if Abhi will miss Pragya as a person or his caretaker cum maid cum secretary.

Poiu, I agree, this is beyond irritating for me too. How both of them are trying to split hairs and defending his actions as he is choosing his " majboori" and not his happiness. We got the answer in his speech to Pragya yesterday, right😡He is choosing to be " happy" with the 🤬 and lead an " uncomplicated life" by erasing Pragya out of his life.

Wish we have the luxury of saying, that I did xyz because even though my heart is pure and has good intentions, my brain made me do it. For example, if one of my students makes a mistake and somebody's life gets affected by this, my student as well as I are responsible. Even if my brain made me think that way, my hands typed in those orders, my heart has the purest intentions possible, I can't claim not to be responsible for the final outcome because my heart is in the right place, my behind will still be sued😡🤢. Sorry, now I am becoming illogical😲

Praveen bhai, good question ( you should know when you attend a lecture and you ask a question and speaker says ' good question' , that means there is no straight forward answer to that )😃Needed to get this out of the way.

Now coming to your question. From a pure medical perspective, yes an amnestic patient is constantly making memories once they have recovered from their state of unconsciousness and their physical illness. That is why it is so important to tell them the absolute and pertinent truth, but let them guide how much they want to know. For example, in Abhi's case, he should have been told he is married, but doesn't have to be told all the circumstances of that marriage right at the beginning. Similarly, no need to tell him about all the mess with fake🤬 pregnancy, because at the present moment it is of no concern for him. Because, in reality, we want them to form memories on the scaffolding of truth, no matter however little they remember . Another example, say if Abhi, Pragya had a child, and say Abhi has a presumed brain explosion of knowing that he is married, can we then tell the child that " your daddy can't be your daddy as he has a health scare knowing that you are his child, and let him go along with the 🤬, because knowing that your mommy is his wife is deleterious to his health". Absolutely NOT, right.

If they have intense reactions from knowing the truth, still important facts about their life cannot be hidden. This should be done in a controlled setting, in small bits and pieces which are palatable to the patient, a process of desensitization. Yes, they are supposed to have memory of everything that happened after their accident, so Abhi better have a good explanation and a strong heart and brain to digest what all he did to Pragya.

But Praveen bhai, who are we kidding here? Even Abhi with an intact memory never really repented or explained all of his actions that hurt Pragya immensely. So this will also be one such thing. I know bhai, I also want him to eat his words, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.

If you are interested, Praveen bhai, I was so disturbed at the beginning of the ML track, I wrote this at the time , somewhat answering your question. Hope I didn't confuse you more with my answer.

If Abhi is saying something he will speak about his feelings. Not about assumed feelings of someone else! I do not understand what is your issue with him really. He was sincere and correct in this situation and understanding of truths he has.
I actually think Pragya and his family do not deserve even this much consideration from him given their lies and games!!

Its called a different opinion Tia. Everyone has a right to have one. You dont have to understand it if you dont.

Either way, topic is about Abhi.

Aww Naina can I suggest not responding when someone doesnt understand the post? No one has an obligation to explain beyond what they have already said. If someone doesn't understand what was already laid out, that might just be their final comment on the matter, that they are unable to understand threadmakers point of view. I think we would all enjoy the forum more if we didnt keep trying to make each other understand stuff we disagree with. Everyone can say what they think and everyone else can agree or not. I don't know why everything has to turn into an explanation Olympics instead of accepting that people are going to disagree.

Thank you Mili for clearing my doubt.. You didn't confuse me, you explained very well and I completely understand what you said...

And I have one more doubt (Sorry for disturbing you again)... I remembered one Tamil movie "Deepavali" that I watched, In that movie Heroine is suffered by "Post Traumatic Event Disorder" where she lost her past three years memory after her accident... Doctor cured her memory loss, but she forget the memories of ML stage...

Abhi is suffering from "Retrograde Amnesia", Is that curable by doing any surgery..??
