Rajeev Khandelwal has kept a low profile past many months.

The actor has completed his first movie and is now awaiting its release in a few months. He avoids giving interviews or making appearances because he doesn't want to be overexposed. Good luck Rajeev!

Aamna follows Rajeev into Bollywood

After Rajeev Khandelwal, his Kahiin Toh Hoga co-star Aamna Shariff is also entering Bollywood. Both rose to fame with the show. We spoke to Anuj Saxena, who is launching Aamna and 'good friend' Rajeev about her first film.

"Both Aamna and Aftab suited the roles perfectly. They make a good pair and I think they will create the magic required for this film. She also has a good fan following so she was the first choice for the film," says Anuj on Aamna's selection.

Asked specifically about film, he says, "We will go on floors in mid-February. It will be a start-to-finish schedule of about 45 days. We are looking at releasing the film around June-July end."

When informed about Aamna's film, Rajeev reacts, "I have not heard about it. She had told me that she is thinking about some scripts which were offered to her but not that she has signed anything. However, I am happy for her and this is surely a very big opportunity for her."

Quizzed about his own film, he says, "Right now I have finished shooting for my film and am on a holiday with my family in Rajasthan so I am not in touch with anyone."

Anuj Saxena's Maverick Production is producing the film with Aamna starring Aftab Shivdasani titled Aloo Chaat. When contacted Aamna did not wish to talk about it.

Both Rajeev and Aamna are said to be more than good friends. Their on-screen chemistry was loved by all in Kahiin Toh Hoga. However, both quit television last year and there was a huge buzz that they were to do a film together but that did not happen.

Now both will be seen on the big screen in the same year but in different films.
