Yeah Dee, Kripa will not be able to take it...and I don't think Zeb will melt until she is on her deathbed..well, at least in my fan-fic, that's how it's gonna be.

Well I promised Taniya that I would try and post before I leave, so,T, here's my humble take on yesterday's episode.

Zeb is suave. I can't think of anything other then sauve to describe this man. He is slick (in a good way). He carries his confidence and arrogance with such ease that the trolly-prolly gang flounders before him.

The man sure knows how to strut his stuff!!!

That soulfull gaze directed at Mishty as if she were the only woman in the room, that teasing grin....Mishty had no other option but to follow him with her eyes. His precense was magnatic to say the least.

Prithvi...aaargghh!!! He's one to talk about Dhoka! The bloody guy could write a freaking self-help book on how to pull the wool over peoples eyes.

His words "Main is waqt ka intezaar karraha ho, jab me sabke saamne uski asliyat deka doo. Usse itna sharminda karroonga ke woh aaj ke baad kissi ko bhi dokha dehni khi himmat bhi karega"....well, Mr Trolly-Prolly better remeber those words because they are going to come back and bite him in the ass....Zaib will make sure of it. The look Zaib had in his eyes while Prithvi was speaking thesw words are a testemanet to that fact.

Poor Prtihvi, he has no idea what to make of Zaib....that easy, confident smile, that don't-give-a-damn attitude when facing all his adversaries, has them groping in the dark for a way to deal with him.

Oohhh, and the look and smile he had when leaning against that pillar after Prithvi stormed off like a petulant child, gave me goosebumps of anticipation for what's in store for the trolly-prolly gang.

Poor Kripa....me thinks the lady doth protest too much. She hates him, she doesn't want to be at the party with him, yet she is drawn to him like a moth to a flame. Her words belay the actions. Her thoughts belay her hearts call.

I loved the variation of the Pal-Pal scene, very well shot. Woh Lamhey, one of my alltime fave's.

Kripa fading to the side and out of the picture as Mishty moves forward....symbolic???

The expectant look on Kripa's face when she saw the rose, thinking that Zaib was going to give it to her, only to have that look change to dissappointment and hurt when he gives it to Mishty.

"Kahi se yeh fiza aaye, ghamo ki dup sang lahi, ghafa ho gahe hum, Juda ho gahe hum" (hope I got the lyrics right)....There was an aura of sadness about Zaib, his head bowed, his eyes downcast, when he does raise his head, there is longing and regret in his eyes while singing this part of the song....His eyes really got to me during this part.

The only thing that spoilt this sequence for me was Prtihvi's face being shown in the end of it!

Well, Mishty to Gaya, Kripa, woh bhi gaya....Poor Prithvi and Karthik....not!!!

Especially Prtihvi, Kripa looked so taken by Zaib, that had he held out his hand and said "Come with me", she would have taken his hand and said "gladly"!!!

I only hope that Zaib doesn't trifle with Mishty's feelings, because from the whole lot of them, she is the one that doesn't deserve to be hurt. She has barely gotten over Angad, now to be faced with Zaib's attentions.

Very well put Hafsa... I know Prithvi ke itan himmat...I did see Zaib's sad eyes...they were really sad and powerful...Iqbal can act without any sound...just that powerful.

The expressions in Zaib's eyes are what got to me yesterday.

The arrogance, the teasing glint, the determination and in the end, the sadness, longing and regret. His eyes get to me every time.

Welll.... Delicious analysis Nits... I enjoyed the tension filled last 10 mins so much that I wont give it a paltry 5 ... rather a 7 on 10.... 2 extra points for all that was Zaib, Zaib and his maginifient 'tiger on the prowl act'.... IT WAS FANTABLOUS ....

And u r rite to feel sorry for Kripa also : Bechaari! ..... she is in the path of a speeding train and doesnt even know it ....

Her ice maiden act was half hearted to say the least! NOT INTERESTED IN BEING AT THE PARTY ??? what baloney gurl... every fiber of ur being was on high alert .... plugged into the 'tiger's moves' , on tenterhooks and on edge, as He poked, prodded and played the flute to raise the green eyed-monster in you .....

NOTE TO KRIPA : if the temptation is too much, do what others (bordering on insanity)do: GIVE IN TO IT!!!! 😳😳 Atleast, then u can always blame it on 'the emotions'!!!

And , Is it just me or has Kripa indeed started looking awfully pretty in her close-up shots ? ... and her skin just glows .... Wow! I was bowled over by her makeup yesterday. Then she complimented that with her incredible 'me-crazy-in-love & plastered-with-Tiger-boy's routine of taking no prisoners'!! UFFFF!!!! I had a blast watching that.

In fact, if she reacted any 'jealouser' ( sorry for this engl!) I'd seriously think that she had lost all her marbles.... But as she re-acted the way she did ... i am a contented cat that atleast this is one mucho ruffled bird - despite all her empty protests....

Aaaah! Prithvi if u only knew what a firebrand u had married! But hey! everyone doesnt get to stoke this passion in her 😳.... so sicko... u lucked out!

I think with the way Kripa has been (re)acting, she will be the easiest one to conquer ...... esp the way he pushes all the right buttons with her .... I think that Kartik's control over his mother - that will be the toughest battle for Zaib to fight (when he eventually does come to this aspect --- Karthik's Oedipus Complex is so strong that he will let everyone/everything go, but not Naina!) .... Kripa falling victims to his charms --- thats an easy kill! 😉


As far as going for Mishty is concerned ... hmmm me sad abt her predicamment : To be rebuffed in love TWICE by the same man is a BIG BIG OUCH! in my books.... but then revenge is never a kosher game ... it has its price .... but me SAVOURING the impact this is having or will have on the Kameena Karthik - Zaib is gonna pay him back in his own coin! To snatch away someone he loves /wants to marry - oh! How suitable - to do the same thing to Karthik that he did to Angad when he tore the two apart.

Ok... here I am a little non-plussed here .... I know that M has been grieving (more visibly) for angad's loss than Kripa has been and she has been an easy character to love (those distasteful camel jokes she made against her nanad apart) BUT I still feel that zaib is doing the rite thing by going for her : He is chiefly repaying Karthik with 'his own coin' by separating him from the one he cares , just as the evil brother once separated Angad from the love of his life .... Afterall, they do say, everything is FAIR in Love & War ... And for Zaib it is currently BOTH !!!! 😳
