Then without pause they rushed into the Priveer wedding and promptly ignored anything to do with THE TWO PEOPLE GETTING MARRIED-- the background of Prinku and the ACP and why she is half in love with him. How he feels about it, is he 100% black or is there any conflict with the disrespectful shit he's pulling being a police officer-- do we have a real love story or is this a throwaway guy ( What a waste)... All of that is not just good story telling-- it's actually basic information we need. But of course, that was shelved and now Shubha or whatever her name is is leaving so bye bye Prinku. Bye to the chance to see a soft stuttering and frightened girl emerge as Prinku Pehelwan with a backbone and some good growth.

Being used to wallpapers on this show I took that. Then came goddamn Mahi.

I don't take that.

Honestly, I have this sneaky feeling that the CVs has stopped giving two hoots about the original story and are instead focusing on mashing together as much experiments as they can (read style of the show) through the show.

My reasoning for this is simple, as an actor it's monotonous to continue essaying the same role for the long term. This is a given. Most actors will outright agree to this and the others are either not passionate enough or committed enough to their craft 😛 This is why I can actually understand NM's total commitment to this new character (especially when you add the fact that he has to be switching in and out of two very different characters in a certain time frame). Excitement added to routine no? This to some extent also applies to writers...

So the premise that your have taken here is absolutely correct. The priorities of the writers has clearly changed. ShivIka have been sidelined to make room for other extras. This wouldn't have been such a big problem if they had actually out careful thought to all of this right from the beginning (pre production). Because the end result of this now is viewers losing touch with the essence of the story?

And this is honestly sad.

I would honestly love if the Indian TV for once actually mainstreamed experiments (yay for the sudden onslaught of web series' 😆) but what's the need to start doing this in an already established plot line like Ishqbaaz?

First the random spin off? I mean DBO is more like a joke than a spin off. Haven't been able to stand watching Omkaara ever since the random 360 degree change from intense artist with own highs and lows to becoming a failed version of SSO 😆😆

SSO was not just the tadibaaz Billu man, he was also the loved SSO because he actually was the Great Wall of SSO for his family.

Okay second rant over 😆

EDIT: Did anyone else almost expect a THIRD lookalike when SSO came up so suddenly in the frame? 🤣 And NM will obviously be promoting the next one for the whole of the week. 😆

What have the CVs done? I have no Faith left 😆

Yest was icing on the cake...for me the most ridiculous moment was Gangu Teli oblivious of the fact that Shivaay is back and hugging dear wifey while he is busy dancing to gandi baat just 10 m ahead of him...😆😆 result of cheap pink glares i guess😆😆

Thanks to entries of multiple villians Shivika feel has reached rock bottom...

And I even read that there isnt much to explore about Shivika...REALLY?????I MEAN REALLLY...

Shivika got a 6 minute scene today with a rushed explanation of how Shivaay managed to escape from the place which at one point supposedly had magical boulders chasing him down😆...check it out, you might get your feelz back😆...All izz well ho gaya hai...Shivika are nicely settled in so yeah probably not much left to explore about them😆...

My fav. part was knowing that Anika has finally found a new chappal...CHAMKI😆
