Oh Kishore da sang for sunny/anil/sanjay/jackie😲! WOW indeed they were lucky. Kishore songs for Rajesh K and Amitabh were such super duper hits. Besides Kishore da is also known for his idiosyncrasies 😆😆.

Yes the Khans missed that. His yodeling is still unmatchable.

Also I believe if Kishore da sang in English then his name would be right up there with Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Ray Charles and all👏👏

^^True, but sometimes she sounds really shrill and squeaky. Not saying she doesn't deserve the award at all, but four is too much!

^^In any song when she hits the high notes, she sounds shrill/squeaky to me.

Be it Tumko Lekar or Barso Re (even though I like this song). She is ok when not singing high notes though, like in Yeh Ishq Haye.

One of the reasons Yesudas, SPB and Chitra lead the pack in national awards is Illayaraja sir. He has won several too. From the 80s right up to 2015 or 2016.

It maybe in multiple languages not just Hindi. Shreya sings for the South regularly not an occasional appearance like many others or it could be some other regional industry
