This is more of a lesson for Dev. He will realize what Sonakshi went through when his family taunted her left and right but he would just stand and watch. He gets the same medicine

Dev is no Sonakshi.Unlike her his priority is clear that is his daughter.He won't take it to heart when he will be insulted by Bijoy because he knows why he is in Bose house and for him pride n ego comes last when it comes to his family members .He will not interfere in their household decisions either nor will try to impose his decisions on Saurabh or Ronita in the name of doing right .So all in all Soha will get to see the real Bose family when they mistreat her father.Sona will know how perfect her family is and will get to see how the family dynamics changes when the new member enters and how the perfect family will react to those changes .With Ronita in picture it would be fun to see her take over everything as now he is the DIL of the house who has more authority than Sonakshi .

In short , all Dev has to do is be with Soha but Sonakshi has bigger role to play here .She has to balance her father n Soha's father ,ensure Ronita is not offended by any of her decisions,take a back seat in Bose decision making committee as DIL will be here to take over , bear Ronita mom's interference in her life ,witness how her perfect brother will be torn between his wife n family when he has to balance between two .Looks like Sonakshi has lot to lose here than Dev if things doesn't go right .She can even lose Soha's trust after all Dev is her father and she will definitely not like if her perfect grandfather insults him

Even I m looking forward to this track .I agree with you , Sonakshi needs to realize there is nothing as perfect in life and her family is no exception.In S1 just before leap she blames Dev for not knowing how to balance between his wife n mother .She even says Ishwari n she are not at fault here as it was Dev's responsibility .Now she will have to take that responsibility of keeping everyone happy .
