It's really difficult to connect with the see-saw of attitudes and the sudden change of behavior..
Yesterday, I see Dev feeling emotional for his daughter.. having a calm attitude when Sona was blaming him for Soha's injury even though he wasn't at fault.. When he was messaging Sona asking for permission, it felt so emotional..

And the very next episode, his attitude changes totally, he starts teasing Sona.. calling her beautiful from behind.. doing irritating things..

Unable to connect with this see-saw of attitude..

Even I also thought the same, he is so contradicting. I think all the alcohol the makers had bought for Casanova dev is leftover. Now that dev is trying to be a reformed father, the writers are making use of it before they write the show. Sabke sab talli ho gaye hain.
Another scenario is they have 2 writers for the show, one doesn't know what the other wrote the previous day, so he comes up with his version of dev.

This summer camp track should not be like accident sequence.
All this flirting and proximity should lead the story somewhere. I don say they shld fall in love but atleast Sev should acknowledge Sonakshi's need and their should be some constructive conversation between the two.

Otherwise this is insult to these two characters.
Dev and Sonakshi are very intense characters, with an attitude, thought process and personality. Their love for each other is pure, their anger is intense.
Just because Shaheer and Erica potray romantic scenes very beautifully, their chemistry should not be used to butcher the characyer just for cheap entertainment.

This is insult to actors also, they are not potraying the character but their personal chemistry. I really don want this to happen. I have lot of hopes with summer camp.
I can understand Dev's attitude towards Sona in camp, she is with his daughter and he wants to prove that it was not him only who was a bad husband but Sonakshi was equally wrong.

What CVs think about viewers -
If you can't convince them, confuse them.

Instead of showing a gradual growth in Devakshi relationship, they move one step forward n then 10 step backwards. Hard to believe even after that goons attack track and ofc confrontation, there is just no improvement in their relationship.

The fact is he's still very much connected to Sona
And still falls for her beauty!😳
Which makes it difficult for him to maintain the facade!
And he starts doing things to show her that he isn't affected by her presence
Like talking with aunties , flirting with teacher...this all to show her & also ensure him that he cares a damn about her
But still he fails to control his emotions..
And thus will get closer to her in tomm episode😉

because he is still a little boy inside a grown man's body. he cant help but bully, taunt, throw tantrum, act like a victim, act goody goody.. to make himself look better than others.

how else can they keep Dev's fangirls happy who find these kinds of "out of character" scenes worthy?

That was when he was alone, today he had to impress Soha. Flirting with mom, rescuing mom might be the ways to get to Soha's heart. Sad that Dev and Ishwari like people dont even leave their kids to manipulate.

The same Dev who locked Sona up once, came to rescue her this time. Ever wonder why ? As if the records of Dev is not already enough, now displaying Ishwari-like traits for his child. Sad.

Really annoying with Dev's characterization; better cvs stick to one; this constant see-saw behaviour is hard to digest; I really want improvement in Dev's character and for that he needs to start respecting Sona; if he can't at least behave like a normal being!!
