Everything is fine with me except got a major project and suddenly things got super busy at work... So fantastic opportunity at work for me... And I will try to post next chapter by tomorrow...

Chapter 26 Continued -

It was another lazy Saturday morning!

He didn't find Khushi next to him! Oh, yeah she had classes that she had rescheduled and must have gone...

"Arnav, your breakfast and coffee is on the table. Please eat and have your medicines... I will be back as soon as my class is over hopefully by lunch... Miss me..." Khushi had left a cute note...

"Wow, miss me!!" Arnav smiled while having breakfast... He realized he was smiling or rather laughing a lot these days...

"Why would I miss you sitting here? I would rather pick you up and take you for lunch..." Arnav quickly got ready and reached Khushi's university by noon.

Khushi had finished her classes and was walking out with her friends... She was walking with Mark and as usual talking animatedly laughing and Mark was laughing holding his tummy...

Arnav loved her seeing so carefree but of course he was jealous... He wanted to be there in place of Mark...

"Khushi" He almost shouted trying to grab her attention!

"Hey" Khushi was pleasantly surprised to see Arnav...

"Bye Mark, See you next week" Mark side hugged Khushi raising his eye brow... He was also surprised to see someone picking up Khushi first time from her classes that too such a handsome guy with an expensive car!!

Khushi didn't bother to explain Mark anything right now or introduce him to Arnav since he was waiting far in the parking lot! She walked towards Arnav!!

"Hi Baby, thought to surprise you and take you out for lunch" Arnav hugged Khushi. Khushi was taken aback with his open PDA.

"Where are we going for lunch?" Khushi was excited.

"You tell me, any good restaurant nearby?" He asked her.

"Do you want to try my favorite place at the corner there? Small but yummy sandwiches and soups" Khushi pointed out a small restaurant across her collage.

"Okay, let's go" Arnav walked holding Khushi's hand, picked a corner with privacy and requested Khushi to order food.

Khushi was surprised with his gesture, became a bit conscious of the surrounding realizing there could be her college mates and friends watching her... Never the less she relaxed a bit.

Khushi and Arnav were enjoying their outdoor lunch and time, when suddenly couple of Khushi's juniors walked in... They saw Arnav and started whispering.

Ultimately one of the girls walked over to Arnav.

"Hi, are you Arnav Singh Raizada, Asia's youth icon and the business tycoon? I am also into fashion designing and seen your pictures in magazines" The girl was really excited to notice him.

"Yeah, I am ASR" Arnav just casually accepted.

"Wow, would you mind a selfie with me and my friend?" She was so excited that Arnav could not say no.

The girl took couple of her own selfies and call her friend as well. Both girls standing each side of Arnav took selfies.

"How come you are here?" The girls were surprised to see him eating street side and could not help but ask...

Arnav was already done eating and Khushi was yet to finish but she suddenly got up.

"I am done Arnav, let's go" She almost pulled his hand and started walking...

Arnav just excused the girls and walked out with Khushi... The drive was silent and Arnav wasn't sure what bothered her!!

"Are you jealous, Khushi?" He asked her encaging her in his strong arms in the elevator with his famous smirk...

"What? No, why would I be?" She replied hastily.

"Are you sure?" Fun apart, he wanted to reconfirm.

"Yeah 200%" Khushi replied and walked out...

He didn't pester her much after that... She needed to do groceries but he was busy on calls.

"Arnav, it's ok if you are busy. I will go get some groceries and need to do some other chores... Should be back by 7.00 pm. Can you make something simple for dinner today?" She asked him.

"OK" He was shocked by her request but obliged.

"See you at 7 then. And yeah I prefer Indian..." She walked out the door.

"What? Did she just order me to cook dinner and that too Indian food? Is this come kind of punishment for her being upset and quiet since afternoon?" He was not sure now.

First he was completely stumped by her actions and reactions since afternoon but then he was ASR when it comes to deliver his best...

Indian dinner it will be he thought...

He quickly called a restaurant to get readymade gravy and rotis when he saw cottage cheese in the fridge and made daal in insta pot by having Di online. Cut some salad and kept yogurt and pickle handy! Phew, he was ready with dinner and waiting for her!!

Khushi was lost in her own thoughts while walking through the aisles looking for stuff... Suddenly she stopped...

"What am I doing? He just surprised me and wanted to take me on a lunch date and I acted so rude to him... Why can't I just let go things?" She realized Arnav did not do anything wrong neither she was jealous of some first year students...

She managed to focus, quickly shop and got back home... She was surprised to see the diner already on the table...

"Did you order food from outside?" Khushi asked curiously...

"No baby, I made it myself... Ok, few things from outside like rotis and some gravy..." He started serving...

"Wow, yummy food, Arnav. And sorry I forced you to cook today..." Khushi started eating quietly and was apologetic. She did not say much but simply hugged him and snuggled into him.

"What's going on Khushi?" Arnav pulled her to him and looked into her eyes... She looked lost and upset.

"Nothing Arnav, just a little tired. Maybe I will sleep early today... Good night" With that she skipped their usual chat routine and tea and went to sleep...

They had started happily chatting and talking about almost on any and every topic every night... Sharing each other's views was fun. He missed her while sipping his coffee alone...

They often did their chores together getting groceries, visiting library and going to work together. Arnav started dropping and picking Khushi from her classes and together they visited lot of places around or have a simple dinner outside and catch a movie together!!

They were practically living in together though Khushi might not have taken it in that sense, she was just here to help him while he was sick.

While she made sure to cook delicious meals for him or take care of him, she always expected him to help or be around and not just sit there and order her around!! She didn't mind or stop him when he cleaned dishes at times or cleaned the table... Arnav slowly sucked in the fact that the biggest change in her was her confidence and she acted equal now every time they interacted... She was not intimidated by him like before or never hesitated to do things her way...

He loved the new Khushi much more... She was so ready to be Mrs. Raizada, he thought... Only wished, she herself realizes it and accepts it... And only if she opens up and lets him in, he sighed...

He even missed how she sleeps on his shoulder while talking almost every single day even though he warned her after their first date and punished her for sleeping... How often he will get to punish her and make her to do things for him, he smirked at his own naughty thought... He needed to keep his emotions and actions in control, he promised himself... He picked her up from recliner and made her sleep on his bed with him. Holding her hand, he also dozed off...

This was new sleeping routine which he loved... He could sleep peacefully too...

Slowly they were coming together a long way!!

awesome...so Khushi was jealous...but why was she upset later, post dinner. Did the realization shock her ?
