Part 2-
"Naina?" Raghav breathed, incredulous at seeing her there. She stood frozen, a expression of shock frozen across her face. He couldn't believe she was there, standing in front of him. Just then the door opened and sammy walked in, breaking our trance.
"Raghav, yeh hain Naina Mehra, tumare nehi secretary" He said to me. I whipped my head up the minute he said her name. Mehra? My name? Why did she still have my name attached to hers? I looked at her and realized with a jolt that she was wearing sindoor, and a mangalsutra, my mangalsutra. An unnamed feeling coursed through me at the realization, and I felt something warm coursing through me.
"Main kaam par shuru karti hoon" She replied hurriedly, scurrying out of the room, leaving me reeling in confusion in her wake.

Naina sat at her desk, unable to concentrate, knowing he was a wall away. She loved him. She had tried to disassociate her feelings from him but it didn't work. She loved him just as much, if not more than she always had. Suddenly her phone buzzed and she picked it up, startled by the noise.
"Naina, tumme naya maalik ka ghar jaana hain, aur unka files lekar aana hain" Pandey ji commanded naina over the phone.
"Lekin- But pandeyji had already disconnected he call. Naina sighed and closed her eyes, her in Raghav's house? How could she go? But there was no choice, he had to go if she wanted to keep her job and she needed this job. She stood up resigned, praying to Ganpati that it would be brief.

Raghav was sitting in his grandmother's room, his eyes overcome with emotion. His Dadi had woken, she was fine. True, her state was fragile and she wouldn't be able to tolerate any mental disturbance, but she was awake and talking to him. He also felt a strange sense of satisfaction, one of the first things daadi had done as soon as she'd woken was to tell Raghav to banish the Mehra parivaar, which raghav had done with gusto. He was glad to be rid of them, every time he looked at them he was reminded of his past, he was reminded of her. Daadi had been exhausted after he outburst at her pathetic children and so she'd laid down for a nap, but the anticipation loomed. She would wake soon, and then she'd want to know about her. What would he tell her? How could he tell her the truth?
He was sitting there contemplating about what he'd tell her when his maid walked in.
"Saab who aapse koyi office se aayein hain, kuch files chahiye unhe" He said. Raghav looked up at the interruption and expecting it to be sammy he asked the maid to send him in.
"Kya hain sammy" He said, without looking up, rubbing the bridge of his nose with his forefinger an thumb. When he didn't get a response he looked up and was left shocked. It wasn't sammy it was her. Naina.
"Tum, yahan?" He asked, his voice coming out more broken than he'd intended. Before she could answer a voice came from the bed and they both turned.
"Naina! Meri Bacchi!" Daadi's voice said. Naina looked to her in shock, before a wide smile spread on her face and she rushed over to the elderly lady, tears in her eyes.
"Daadi! Kaise hain aap?" She asked as daadi hugged her to her chest.
"Ab theek hoon, tum dono ko dek kar bilkul theek hoon. Raghav idha aa" She called. Raghav obeyed silently standing next to naina as he looked at daadi. She took his hand and placed it in Naina's beaming.
"Aise hi rehena, ek dujre ke saath" She beamed. Raghav looked up and met naina's eyes, seeing the same pain, the same remorse he had in her orbs. What were they going to do?
