I like cid, crime patrol and savdhaan india too.

It was a light, happy, entertaining (also cheesy with dupatta flying, fast heartbeats etc) show with likeable side characters. The lead characters per se were nothing spectacular but they had, in my opinion, really good chemistry together. I guess people liked watching ASR's (the male lead) transition from a ruthless, heartless and hot-tempered brute to a caring, charming husband since he met a girl who affected his life.

Regarding you, I guess to each his own😆 IPK starts off slow but after some 45 episodes, it picks up really well till a forced marriage track, then it becomes shit. As from this point, it's an average pastime show with only the leads' chemistry sustaining it and how. It was so popular because it had super loyal fans in large numbers. Used to be so crazy about ASR especially😳

IPKKND... Now I think of it, it had such a misgnoystic and regressive premise but it was very well enacted and the chemistry was BOMB!

I liked Sanjeevani too.. Rahul/Juhi were LOVE but I hated Simran for all that plotting. They really ruined the show.

And yeah Sarabhai VS Sarabhai was a class apart.
