Chapter 26 - Arnav and Khushi go on first date unofficially!!

"So what's next?" Arnav asked Khushi after he finished attending most of the calls. They both had finished checking emails...

"Just give me 5 more minutes. I am rescheduling my classes" Khushi told him.

"What are all classes you are attending Khushi?" He asked curiously...

"Doing Project management and tools which helps me in my administrative job at work. Plus learning French after I finished my advance English class and doing few computer courses" She replied...

"Wow so many things at a time... You seem to be on a mission!!" He felt she was overdoing it...

"Yes, I am on a mission" She replied casually and before he could ask more, she changed topic... "Not sure. Are you feeling better? You suggest something"

Arnav looked at the clock and it was 4 pm. "Maybe dinner and movie outside?" Arnav asked her.

"Ok great" Khushi was happy.

"Let me book tickets online and you can get ready" Arnav proposed.

She nodded and rushed to her room... She was excited to go with him but was not sure what to wear... She carried few clothes and not much of her party wear or special occasion dresses.

"May be this would work" She pulled out a black shimmery sleeveless dress, a silver matching cardigan, red and silver scarf to contrast the dress. She wore red pump shoes and was satisfied with her look... She let her hair open and little make up but adorned bold red lipstick...

Arnav was shocked to see Khushi's tremendously improved fashion sense and color coordinated look... She looked gorgeous, ultra-sophisticated and she exactly knew how to mix and match...

"I must say I am impressed with your new dressing sense and you look amazing" Arnav complimented waiting at the door...

"Thank you Arnav. And you are looking great too" Khushi complimented him back which he never expected...

He wore dapper black jeans and light blue polo T-shirt and sports shoes... She has always seen him wearing formals and suits but this was a pleasant surprise...

"Let's go. The movie starts at 5.30 and then I booked dinner table at Indian restaurant in downtown. Hope you like Passage to India food" Arnav shared plans with her...

"Oh, I love Passage to India food... They have best Indian food in Paris" She was so happy he booked Indian restaurant for dinner...

It was an English movie... Pretty serious... Khushi held his hand every time there was a serious scene... After some time he heard a small snore and found her sleeping on his shoulder...

Maybe another thing about her didn't change... She still does not like English movies and prefers her Salman Khan movies - point to be noted, he smiled to himself...

She looked so innocent like a child while sleeping, he thought. That was another thing didn't change about her... He loved this modern, confident, smart yet nave and innocent Khushi...

He slowly woke her up after the movie was over... She was embarrassed for sleeping during the movie but he shrugged it off...

Dinner was fun and she as usual ate a lot... She literally ate double than him and managed to stay so fit and slim... Maybe whole day she keeps running and never sits at one place and that makes her maintain her figure... He realized he was observing her keenly every second...

Khushi could feel he stared often at her and was little conscious... But other than that their day together was fantastic...

As soon as they reached home at 10 pm, Ananya called asking her where she was. Khushi informed her she will be staying with Arnav at least for couple of weeks...

Khushi went to her room and told her everything that happened between her and Arnav without giving personal details...

But Ananya had already guessed about their relationship as soon as she had seen Khushi panic and called Arnav her Arnavji... Initially Payal and Anajli had given them some hints but they both did not dig deeper because Khushi had become their friend just couple of weeks back... But now hearing things from Khushi directly, she had concluded maybe they were in a relationship before and broke up... She was glad that Khushi and Arnav were sorting out their differences...

"Are you telling me that you slept off on your first date with Arnav?? Only you can pull off such a blunder Khushi... Poor ASR, only he can tolerate you because he is super nice and he loves you too much..." Ananya asked Khushi again not believing her ears...

"Yes, I guess. But don't take his side. You are my friend and so don't always be on his side... By the way he is not always nice... No, no. He is actually nice..." Khushi warned Ananya and was embarrassed after realizing it was their first date and she messed it up big time...

"What should I do now?" Khushi asked genuinely...

"Go and say sorry to Arnav" Ananya suggested...

"But it was not an official date for god sake, Ananya. We just casually decided to go out..." Khushi was defending herself...

"Yeah right... Shut up Khushi. Come on, accept it you messed it up, go and say sorry to him right now..." With that Ananya hung up...

Khushi slowly walked out after changing into a simple night dress... Made coffee and tea for them and took it to balcony where he was standing...

He also had changed and looked much relaxed and better than yesterday... She handed him tablets and asked him how he was feeling.

"Khushi, I am fine and ready for work tomorrow. Don't worry" He assured her...

Arnav could see Khushi was still, tensed and lost in her own thoughts...

"What happened Khushi? Why are you so tensed?" Arnav asked her...

"Nothing... I actually wanted to say sorry for messing up our first date by sleeping during the movie today" She apologized with a sad face...

Arnav could not help but laugh...

"Who said it was a date?" He asked her curiously... He had not expected her to guess it by herself...

"Ananya said that. She was mad at me... But I told her you are not that nice..." Oops, Khushi smiled sheepishly stopping right there.

"What? What did I do to not be nice Khushi?" Arnav thought she was unbelievable...

"No, I didn't mean that..." Khushi was quiet now...

"Am I not nice?" He pulled her closer to him and asked...

"You are nice, in fact great" Khushi whispered defending herself...

"So I am great and I assume you really liked my company today" Arnav teased her and she turned red as usual...

"It's ok Khushi. Next time I will tell you when we are going on a date and you can be more careful... I don't want to miss a minute of our time together... And so you deserve a punishment..," He winked at her and was again back to his teasing mode. How can he let go golden opportunity to flirt with her?

"What? No... please" Khushi requested...

"Up to you Khushi, no pressure... By the way, you wanted to say sorry" He reminded her...

"Ok, tell me what I have to do?" She asked him defeated... Arnav smirked...

"You have to wear the red spaghetti top with black flowers and black shorts night dress. I want to see you again in that... You looked mesmerizing in that... Pretty please" Khushi was shocked he remembered exactly what she had worn when he had met her 8 months ago...

She went in and changed... She stood in front of the mirror and felt very shy... Her slim, bare arms and legs against black and red colors looked great...

She came out and stood next to him in balcony...

"You look gorgeous, Khushi" He complimented her... He was happy to see her wearing it for him... But he did not want to make her feel awkward... She felt shy with his continuous flirting and teasing and hid herself in his arms...

That was really really wonderful update .

I liked when khushi started showing her feelings for Arnav .

Guys in reality Barun is always hungry and eat frequently .Sanaya had told in one of their interview that Barun always roam around saying I'm hungry .🤣
