We all know that Tv actors get paid a lot of money.

So, they earn quite a lot for few years and then take plunge to get married.

My main Q is what prevents them from having kids post marriage?

For eg: Hussain K - Tina , Vivaan Bhatena - Nikhila , Jay Bhanushali - Mahi , Gurmeet Choudhary - Debina B , Raquesh Vashisth - Ridhi Dogra , etc ..

Maybe they wanna wait till they reach the end of the career at 30s.Because having a kid is difficult with their busy schedule and heroine who has kids is not given lead roles most of the times

Even Apurva and Shilpa has been married since 13 years now but didn't have any child. Strange because it's not like these two are some busy actors

Talking about TV careers, I think it can be a tough ride, 'cause think about it, you can have ONE great show and then not get lead roles for a long time. Also, one high-paying show does not mean their life is set.

Film stars still have a longer life span, TV stars can disappear even after having a hit show, since makers are always on the lookout for 'new faces'.

yes and you cant really have more than 4 or 5 shows as lead

With wife Ridhi being busy with a daily show in which she plays a double role, hubby Raqesh Vashisht these days is playing the role of a house husband.

There is no married life, he sighs. And the television couple has made a conscious decision to not to have children. Never. Children will happen perhaps in some other birth. We are serious. We are fond of children, but we are practical people. We bring up the child for what? To face the dirt, breathe this pollution? In Mumbai, there is no space to grow.

Both of us are career-minded, we are workaholics. We don't want to have a child and then not be there for our kid. We wouldn't want our child to study in a boarding school. Raqesh, however, does not rule out the possibility of adopting a child. Maybe, we will adopt one someday, he adds.

It's their choice at the end of the day.

I thought Shilpa was expecting last year I must have misunderstood then but I read somewhere that Shilpa and Apurva have been trying for 3-4 years.
