Chapter 17 - Project in Paris

Indeed it was a great opportunity to work with Angels International Ltd. Company. Mr. Mehta was not surprised Arnav had nailed it and grabbed the deal to work with Europe's number one brand Angels. In his mind, he was thankful to Khushi. Had she not been working with Mehta House, Arnav would never come offering partnership for the project.

For guy like Arnav, opening an office Paris would take no time if he really wanted to do that overnight.

Mr. Mehta was wise old man who had seen issues between Arnav and Khushi during the last video leak by Shyam. And he had seen they both had tried to handle the situation in dignified manner and also had seen Khushi never disrespecting Arnav right from her initial interview.

And he personally liked Arnav very much for his work ethics and achievements! And he sure was aware of Arnav's arrogance but somewhere he felt Khushi could be that anchor he needed in his life! She had what it takes to handle ASR and Arnav...

He just prayed for both of them...

The project was six months long but first phase delivery after 2 months was most crucial to establish AR and Mehta House as long term partners with Angels Ltd. It required almost 300 employees working offshore in India and 40 people onsite.

Mr. Mehta already had around 30 staff members including Khushi identified to work in the new project plus Arnav had handpicked 10 senior managers from AR to work onsite and make sure project runs smooth.

Khushi, Ananya and Amit were in a hurry this morning. They had to attend a mandatory meeting in office and Mr. Mehta was in Paris for this meeting.

They could see lots of running around in the office as soon as they entered. They could see lot of new faces in the office.

Rumor had it that Mehta House grabbed a huge project along with a partner and work would start any minute.

"Good morning, everyone" Mr. Mehta addressed employees. Conference room was jam packed. Khushi, Ananya and Amit were standing in the back.

"I have some good news. Next six months we will be working on an important project for Angels International Ltd." Mr. Mehta announced straight. There was a pride in his voice.

Even though marketing and sales were not aware who worked on this deal, everyone was super excited with the news. A project with number 1 brand in Europe, who wouldn't want to work on such a project? There was a loud cheer and everyone started clapping.

"What a news sir? We are so ready to work on this project and make our Angels assignment super successful" One of the senior director congratulated Mr. Mehta.

"Yes, absolutely. No doubt about it" Mr. Mehta gave 5 minutes to let the news settle in with his employees.

"We are collaborating with AR Designs for this project. It wouldn't have been possible to get this project without Arnav Singh Raizada, the owner and CEO of AR Designs. ASR has grabbed this opportunity and has offered us the collaboration and here we are." Mr. Mehta introduced ASR to his employees.

There was a loud cheer and excitement in the air once again. All employees had heard about ASR and his achievements in the fashion world.

"There is no need to introduce Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada. He has created his own niche as a biggest tycoon in Asia and he is here to conquer Europe... ASR will be working from this office overlooking the project personally. He will be leading and guiding the project" Mr. Mehta announced.

He also announced the list of people working on the project. Mr. Mehta had decided most of his current staff would work on the project and he moved his remaining staff to another Europe office to avoid conflict or leak of any project specific data.

Khushi's heart was beating so fast when she heard the news. Arnav was here in her office. No wonder she felt her so called acidity and restlessness as soon as she entered office... She couldn't help but step forward and peeped through to have a glance at him...

She did not like what she saw. He looked much thinner, had lost lot of weight and had developed dark circles under his eyes. And she could see anxiety in his eyes and behavior which she had never seen before. Supreme confidence and arrogance was his forte. He never looked anxious or unsettled in his life, under no situations!! How could he change so much? She was indeed worried...

"Hello everyone and welcome to Angels project" Arnav started in his husky voice and ASR tone. He presented the slides and additional information for the next two hours. This was breakfast meeting along with breakfast served in office.

He talked nonstop, everyone could see his excitement and commitment to the project and the details he had already worked out. They were all looking forward to work under ASR.

The current meeting was over. But whole day was scheduled with many management meetings to come and continued project discussions. She was assisting Mr. Mehta whenever he used to be in Paris so she would attend all the meetings and help him out.

Khushi was gearing up for the new project and now the presence of Arnav Singh Raizada.

About this story well I like this story and this sensible khushi who is taking stand for herself. ...

Some time we need assurance in words that khushi wanted when she was leaving for Paris but Arnav didn't give that assurance so it is not easy for herself to grab whatever he is offering. .

I know she loves him but taking time to assure herself that all this is for real and for right. ..
