Disclaimer : Before you guys call me (wrongly) Dev's Advocate, let me say I'm reading the story as it is told. I know exactly who did what, and who didn't do what, and who shouldn't have done what. I'm just commenting on the events of the episode.😆.. No feelings or sentiments should be hurt in the reading of this episode recap.🥳

Devrath Dixit and Sonakshi Bose meet again. Sparks fly, animosity shot across like poisoned arrows. Immediate irritation, mocking and sneering.

Their last insults to each other are still fresh in their minds, like a mantra. Each was on a crusade to prove the other wrong. The person you love can hurt you the worst.

You will suffer all alone, in your unhappiness. You will never find love again.

You will never succeed in your "vegetable and soup" advise profession. It's good you cannot become a mother, you will never be a good one.

These words opened up old battle wounds in them, although healed, left a phantom nerve memory of intense unresolved pain. An itch you can't scratch because it is not visible . Both were out to stick knives in each others gut, to see each suffer as they have separately. Intense Love has flipped to Intense Hate.

Dev is on a mission. He has punished everyone in his family for their part in the destruction of his life and happiness. Except for one. Now she has reappeared in his orbit, he is taking it all out into an ugly fist fight in the presence on the media.

I must say, she didn't see it coming. She could have just accepted the award and left. But no, she HAD to trade a barb aimed at Dev. She gave him credit for her success!! Why!? He threw her out, and she had to pick up the pieces and make her way up, IT'S HER OWN SUCCESS. Why did she attribute it to him?

Because she wanted to tell him, he was wrong about her. Take back what you said about me. I have proven you wrong. But this new angry Dev , annoyed as hell at her daring, decided to accept the credit. And the award. Not only did he belittle the award when he arrived, calling it an award for newbies, but he told her SHE didn't deserve it, as she herself admitted.

Credit goes to me. It's mine, and I will take it from you.

She is shocked at his unpredictability. This is not Dev of old. The old Dev may have taunted in private. This new one, sneers in public and doesn't give two hoots who says what about him, uses the media to attempt to embarrass her.

Because her self esteem is her super power. If you want to hurt Sonakshi, you should hit there hard. Because her ego is tall as her, if not taller. She is morally and principally correct always, but she does not accept her own errors or rather does not acknowledge them.

I am worried that he might go as far as ruining her business, or buying it over to be HER boss. Devrath Dixit is unpredictably scary right now. He's set something in motion, and Sonakshi is playing right into it. He is out for revenge, and she thinks she can play in this arena with him.

Be scared, be very scared Sonakshi. I hope she stashed money away somewhere in investments outside of her company. Please God.

About the hotel thing. I don't think he was kidding about that other girl. I think he really does have flings with girls, to forget Sonakshi. If HE can snub his mother, he can sleep with other women to snuff out the love for his wife.

He's a free radical now. Untethered, unbothered, angry, destructive and dangerous.

I feel like grabbing Sonakshi and telling her to pack up her Delhi business and go back to Kolkata. Seriously, you don't need to prove to Dev ANYTHING !!

It's going to get ugly. The media is going to splash their ugly divorce over the papers and its going to complicate things. Things like Stock prices and investor confidence. Dev just sold his company and has a huge capital.

He's going to buy over Sonakshi's company, I think.

You see in their blame game, Sonakshi proved that she can become rich, pay off loans, be an excellent mother and thus proved Dev wrong.
All Dev proved that he does not deserve true love, never has, never will. So Sonakshi was right. The love he threw out so callously will never come back into his life again.

What he gets from those girls, had it been true love, he would have been content like Sonakshi was content because she finally got the love she was looking for from her daughter. That unconditional, always standing firm beside her kind of love.

That's the difference between Dev and Sonakshi. He is a vindictive, petulant, entitled brat who expects everyone to pamper him like his mother did at the cost of his sisters and when Sonakshi refused to pamper him anymore, he became resentful.

I wrote a quote in my post, "When you are used to privileges, equality feels like oppression." That's the case with Dev.

By the way, did you see what he said to Ishwari 7 years back? Talk about blatantly lying and conveniently forgetting his own mistakes. As I said, entitled, petulant brat.

I am not worried for Sona.

To buy a company, someone needs to sell it first. And Sona or Saurabh won't sell their company to him.

The more Dev falls, the more Soha will hate him. Good. That's what he deserves. How will he buy his daughter's love with his attitude and reputation?

Rightly you said - Sona should be scared, in fact very scared in this game. Because she is in a game with a cheap dirty petty man, not with one who believes in fair game.

And I would be happy to see Sonakshi lose again in this battle only to maintain her decency, her pride, her honour and her values, unlike her opponent who doesn't have ANY of the above. Do I want to see her lose ? No. But do I want her to turn into the cheap opponent-type player ? HELL NO. Sometimes there comes moments in our lives, when we just have to choose between what we really want - success or ourselves. Some people choose success and stoop to any level. Some people sulk in their whole life, crying for success, but have their morals in tact. Sona I am sure would choose the later and lose happily. 👏

Beautiful write up ...

For the story to move forward they need to be together either as business partners or as husband and wife .The latter is not possible so the only option left is they will end up working together. The tashan between them would be interesting to watch ...

I don't want that at all. In fact, I want Vicky to bring Dev's company to bankruptcy so that Ishwari Communication doesn't exist anywhere. The only way their arrogance will be lessened if they all are reminded of their standard. I'd rather Dev and Sona never are even in the same hemisphere though.

If Dev comes down to street, who will pay for his hotel bills (if really turned into casanova) or pay to those girls for acting ( 🤣 ) 😆.

I wish life takes a full circle for Dixits and they all turn out on streets. Vicky can bring the company down, OR, he can again do fraud and take over IE and drive Dev and Ishu out. 😉 I dont care about remaining Dixits anymore (Cannot even see any except Mama's family 😆), all I want is to see Dev and Ishu on street. 🥱

But like I said, I want Sona to do that with her dignity in tact. I doubt it will happen though. And you know the saddest part is, show might re-unite Sona justifying all these creepy cheap acts of Dev. 🤢

Yes ! He's unpredicatable and angry, but he's irrational and very much bothered by Sonakshi. This fight is not with the indifference he shows his family. Wait til he reacts to what Sonakshi will retaliate with. She isn't going to take this quietly either. She will take the night to absorb and think through, tomorrow she will give right back.

Dev doesn't blame himself at all. He blames everything on Ishwari and Sonakshi. The two women he loved above all. According to him, they both tried to make him choose between mother and wife, they treated HIM badly in their quest to win the battle of who reigns.

He conveniently excused himself from all wrong doing, that he was trying his best. Yeah, men are good at that. Turn what they did into a sacrifice, and make the wife feel guilty for arguing instead of just accepting and being the better person. No way, Sonakshi was done with him, and for good reason.

Tomorrow he might see Suhana, and think Sona has moved on and married someone else. While he wastes his time with random women, he will think she married some better man, and got a child even! Ooohhh, I can't wait. The burn.

Agreed. I think after being tossed out with no house or money, she will have learnt that lesson well. She couldn't resist trading that one barb to sting him. But she won't dally further with him. She has been maintaining a stoic indifferent strength with her family, she will fight to keep that up, especially for Suhana's sake. And Dev will continue to attack her, until he gets a reaction. That will be fun.

Yes, there has to be a reason for them to be around each other. Fight, re-orientate, relearn each other, perhaps fall in love again. In real life, his would rarely happen, but it is fiction after all...😉

I think Dev sold off his portion of Ishwari Communications, and took his share. He just left Vicky to manage his portion all by himself. Vicky was plotting again with his mother, but this new Dev is not going to be so easy to manipulate. Vicky is going down..
Dev's gloves are off.

Dev and Sona in reality would've never come around each other again. but this is a story about Pyar ki Rang... so...
