the deception

arnav is feeling quite lighter and happy today that he has been in a while. he kept on walking smiling, his hands inside his pockets , morning rays making his joyful face shine in much brighter light. he felt the tinkling sound fade away in distant dark , he stopped at his place and looked back only to see one old man walking passed him. he frowned in confusion and started heading back the road in worry.

'where is this girl?' arnav mumbled to himself looking frantically here and there. he had walked early in the morning and gotten ready to take khushi to her school . he dont wont to waste a second of these peace that has established in his family .

he was happy that now he will be free to follow his dream and he wont feel guilty not able to help khushi in case of need . now khushi will be busy studying and no way now anyone will bother her , he has his grandfather's word. their relationship might not be like a normal husband wife but as a human being he cares for her.

arnav ran a frustrated hand through his hairs cursing his fate . how could she go missing like this. they were walking together for past one hour , the nearest school to their village was five kilometers away. if he had been alone he would have covered this distance in half an hour like he used to do earlier when he studied here in government school , khurad [vill.] .

arnav ran through every road of the village and even stopped to ask a few people if they had seen a young girl wearing green slawar kameez and red veil over her head. he had said her to take it off but she just didn't agree.

'i am daughter in law of raizada house. i might be given this privilege of studying like no other girl but i must make sure i never let down my in law's family down. i must not open my veil except extremely necessary .'

her innocent words still reverberating in his head . he know his mother has taught her do all this and like an obedient child she has agreed . was it respect or fear that made her abide by these rule , he wonder.he remember his next words as they passed on uneven road of mud through fields.

'fine dont took it off in front of others but now we are alone . you can take it off otherwise you will trip again like earlier'

he knew he said those words as an apology for his behaviour . he know he had been very rude to her with no fault of hers. she was a child who barely know what is happening all around her . he tried again to encourage her to take off the veil.

'hmm. so take it off unless he dont want to fall on the pit next your legs'

arnav have chuckled as she had made a a scared sound and jump back.

'NO i dont want to take it off. i like it its..it is ummm.. colourful'

he has felt more guilty listening to her words .he know she had not forgiven him or maybe her ego is quite big like his or was it her pride .arnav had been walking at least ten step ahead from her from the beginning. he had tried slowing down to match their steps but as he slow down few step she slows sown five more, he had first thought it to be figment of his imagination but when same has happened the fifth time he had slowed down. than he had realized what she was doing. wives don't walk with same pace as husbands . they walk ten pace behind , social rules that might not be vocally said but were implied.

he shook off his head to let the thoughts of morning wash away. he dont want to feel more guilty he already was. he screamed her name again and again trying to find her.

his feet came to a sudden halt as he heard the tinkling of payals and bangles go louder . he ran towards the sound . he knew it was her . he ran as fast as he could and what he saw in front of him make him shocked beyond wits.

shyam has never felt this insulted and agonized in life as he did now. he was the elder son of raiazda and he deserve respect and wealth of his share . he hated how his little brother has made him feel so little. why? just because his wife was not able to give birth to a boy yet. what is his fault in this. its all her fault , a defected women is in his destiny while his brother has to have whatever he likes.

shyam gulped the next drink , his eyes bloodshot burning in anger. he felt his head go dizzy . he blinked a few times to clear his vision. he follows every rule . he takes burden of responsibilities , walk around like a puppet to his grandfather but what he get in return nothing but dust. while arnav gets it all, his son become the heir all this wealth , no never.

he had been siting beneath the tree from early morning. even taking all his anger on pooja has done nothing to calm his anger. above this his mother had stopped him from hitting her anymore as she might die .she better die because if she don't he will kill her whats the use of her anyway.

shyam stood up with his shaking feet . he walked ahead blinking his eyes to clear them again and again. he collided with someone resulting in him and that man falling on the ground. the old man apologized frantically while shyam tried to stand up without falling again in his drunk state. shyam's dazed eyes landed on the old man in front of him only to get shocked of his life.

there was the same man who was there in his house yesterday night. he was wearing some dirty clothes and smelling of alcohol more drunk than him. shyam got hold the man before he walk away from him.

'who are you?' shyam asked slapping the man hard at not getting reply .man fell on his knees scared looking at angry shyam. he blurted out the truth in microsecond , his hands still joined in mercy.

'i am not a priest , he gave me money to act like one. its not my fault. i am sorry , please dont hurt me'

shyam gritted his teeth in anger , his brother has played with him . he played this dirty game with his family. how could he? for what?

shyam punched the man the last time and went off angrily towards his house. now the game is over arnav.

'you have used deception as your weapon brother , now look how your deception will end in destruction'

aman ran towards the crying man and pick him up. he helped the man walk and left him to his house. all this while his brain kept on running with what this event will lead to. he need to tell arnav as soon as possible that shyam came to know of everything.

his friend would have never thought that this deception will end so soon. this game will not even stay one night of peace. aman cleared the sweat off his face thinking about the consequences. he know shyam is capable enough to kill . he know he will soon find out he helped arnav in this game and he wont leave him alone too.

hello everyone.😃 my exams over yaye! they went ok-ok. hopefully i pass. anyway so here i am with update . i know its a little short and does not contain all the elements of teaser put i thing my teaser were moving story too fast . so i have slowed down a bit. dont worry now i have holidays do i will updating the story regularly . i might update next chapter tomorrow or day after . i will also be updating crown and star crossed lovers . my crazy life or real life will be on hold for a while.

my update might be shorter of this length maybe more or less but updates will be regular. i might not be able to pm right away ,i will message everyone when i update all my stories. till than keep a watch on the thread.
