and you shouldnt forget that due to Naagin and Shakti, Colors is currently the No1 channel, and SP really hates it😆

So basically SP wants to be number 1 and won't hesitate to show new shows to get that spot. So that means TRPs aren't the issue here it's about being number 1.

But then they can scrap few of those shows and shift IB to their slot and start at 10PM the show which they think will beat the rival show
It seems stupid to scrap IB n carry on with shows with lesser TRP 😲

Also had a thought that maybe this Tia scheming against Anika track will also fetch Trps.. The typical saas bahu stuff always works on tv. The vamp scheming against the female lead and winning for a while and then eventually the protagonist understands the vamps true colors and beats her at her own game.

So i think maybe this tia track may bring the typical aundience to the show.

I said the the same I can see them moving to another time slot, but not getting rid of the show. My comment was in reference to Felicity1234's comment about SP only caring about the number 1 position and switching to new shoes that SP thinks will topple the rival show. I thought IB's TRP was the issue, but it's all about being number 1.

Sp cares only about trps.oneline viewers hardly matters.It only contribute to 2%(like gul said while scrapping ishana).5.30 to 7pm shows r getting the trps which r required for that slot.There is no competition in that slot.Earlier ipk season 2 ran with moderate trps for more that 500 episodes as it was a 6pm show.Ib is a prime time show which is in its 5th month.In the current trend it should get trps in the range of 2.1 to 2.3 .Then only our show will be safe.Another thing is starplus survives mainly on fiction shows.They dont hav highprofile reality shows like colors.So sp is very strict with fiction shows.Only those shows which get gud trps which r required for that slot survives.Now a days they r not even changing the timeslots,bcoz shows starts from 5.30 onwards.Show which is not doing wel r getting direct axe...😭.Hope shivika marriage track bring trps.Bcoz i want to see my omkaras luvstory tooo😭

Gul's previous show shot up its TRPs by the same track, which made the supposed cameo to be the ultimate vamp and show's essence got ruined forever. Since Tia has slowly started unraveling her negative side and countering Anika, may be we can expect rise in TRPs in the coming weeks.

Talking about sp shows which air between 5:30 to 7:00 is pointless because those shows are not airing at primetime firstly. And they are doing decent business in their slots as competition then is low. I hope we never have to see a day where IB has to shift to a slot like 5:30 or 6 , no offence intended to viewers of those shows..

Secondly many high profile shows are in the pipeline for sp which star first-grade actors...their shows wont air at a non- primetime slot. There are 5 major shows and no timeslots..

Even if the 9 ' o clock slot is soon going to be vacated , there are still more shows to air at primetime and not enough slots.

Thirdly , even if IB is shifted to an earlier slot the issue remains the same..it is a different show with some what different approach and setup..the audience which watches shows at those slots won't like IB and its content.

IB has a limited audience not because it sucks in terms of content , but mainly because it caters to a niche audience with modern sensibilities...it won't work in non-urban areas.

So yes there are major issues and I don't know what can bring in higher trps..this Thursday will be the test whether balanced episodes work or not..

Maybe the marriage and the vamp track help reach it at least two..
