Someone mentioned PK, kindly check the facts and see when the majority of the protests against PK started. PK had already had a two week run at the BO and earned a whole lot in those two weeks before the protest even began. There are enough articles out there that verify this. Check the release date of the movie and then see the date on which protests began at several places. So many had already watched the movie by then.
As for folks preaching to others about democracy and the right to protest, yes you have a right to protest. There's a difference between a peaceful protest and what the MNS is doing here which is giving open threats to vandalize theaters, attack filmmakers. That's called taking the law and order in your hand! Anyone who has a slight idea about our constitution would know that's effing illegal!

Main toh aapki patli maroing ki fan hoon sabse badi.

And dont worry aapka Raju will give exit option to producers guild and you.

Pakistani market and Pakistani diaspora a huge deal for BW which is floundering atm in India. Paisa sabse bada hain inn sabke liye.

Bold - continue gazing the crystal ball 😆 ...told you reality sucks!!

Red - let me update you...Pak govt unlike India got pressured by rightwingers and banned indian movies...so which market are you talking ??

Also can you quantify the Huge with figures... 😆 ...kyunki figures bhujae pyaas, baki sab bhkawaas.

From what I know, when Phantom was banned in Pak ...the producer recovered the loss due to ban by skipping a weekend dinner outside😆.

Ghalib ka naam leke Khayali pulao pakate raho😛 ...its great entertained ...woh bhi free mein

Ok ok...whatever floats your boat. Anyways I hope you are planning to atleast purchase tickets of ADHM and Shivay to contribute to martyrs. Money is money whether it comes from India or abroad.

This is bullshit bullying and seriously are we living in a democratic country??? You want to cut of ties sure great yet making normal people out to be criminals by humiliating them is disgusting; people are bowing down to MNS now .

You really think this is democratic and not forced?

MNS is not a political party people choose into power it has no legal authority to do anything .Kjo has agreed to this only because they threatened violence.Do you really think this is how a democratic country should work where political parties not choosen into power by people and not having any legal authority can threaten citizens with violence in order to get things done?If yes then i guess i cant say anything more to you.

Sabhyata...the issue is people are mostly misplaced ...Politics is not philanthropy...its about brokering deals.

Bold - your understanding of democracy is flawed ...you dont even need to be a political party to protest...it can even be done by NGO's ...Kejri is a product of protest movement ...so MNS has legitimate right to lead the protest.

Red - that threat has happened a dozen times earlier...PK went on to become all time highest grosser...the govt always provides protection...so threat are not something new.

Correction - threat was to Cinema Hall owners...not citizens.

Hmm sorry but i don't think my understanding of democracy is flawed because i never said anything about protests.I didn't even mention the word protest anywhere.MNS were not doing a non voilent protest. They were threatening violence if movie is released. That is not protest. And they were threatening Cinema hall owners who are citizens of our country as well.Where does it say cinema hall owners are not citizens?

Yes MNS can protest and ask government ban things .Take it to supreme court get a law passed against Pakistani actors.Like what Kejri and part were trying to do that all is fine.We have a legal system and an elected government go through that.

But not this way where you threatening violence.

I know politics is not philanthropy but still i can view things as right or wrong.I don't see things in isloation.Today its happening to K jo tomorrow iy may happen to some one else.Lets say i have business i have hired some Pakistani people because i think they are re good at their work then a political party whom i didn't vote to power comes and threatens me with violence and says donate this money or throw out these people or else we will vandalize your building. What choice do i really have?Is this democracy or right?I don;t think so.This is not about ADHM or Kjo its about larger problem. That is how i am seeing it

Bold - and continued to run for 5 weeks in Mumbai without any interruptions...FYI... 3 weeks no issues...govt ensured smooth sailing.

Red - Oh learned person show me the constitution you are talking about...kuch bhi hawe mein teer😆

Blue - Threats is not equal to action...Pak threatens to use Nuclear bomb...has the UN acted based on threat

Karnataka aur T Nadu mein Water issues ko leke har din threats chal rahe hai.

p.S - kahan se kharidi aisi Pakxford dictionary😆

So worried about me are you...Fawad zaal ke khak ho gaya hoga😆

P.S - fyi...there is a direct account to where you can remit money for Martyrs...dont have to do it fthrough Filmi route. ...guess because not every one dedicates their life to film and film stars😉 ...many have life outside the film sphere.

Ah...I am surprised you even know that much. Your behavior and 'discussions' made me wonder if you even Indian or have been to India as you claim to be. 😉

Is this a new business tactic ---? Truly sucks to see how *URI & martyrs* have been taken for a ride by so many opportunist losers ------ !!!
The *pressure tactic* does leave a bad taste --- but if it's true --- let's hope the money actually reaches where it should --- !!!

That is the only good thing about this unnecessary drama that is wrong on so many levels that the martyrs get something out of it.Ya really hope it reaches them.
