Chapter 15

"I have good news for you!" Ritik said over phone.

"What?" she asked.

"Scotland Yard inspectors have arrested Shyam and his men from London!" he said.

"WHAT? Are you serious?" Anjali asked in excitement.

"Yep. He will be presented in England court and then handed over to Indian government. By then the news would spread!" Ritik said.

"We should inform the family!" Anjali said.

"Not now. Arnav and Khushi are getting married. We shouldn't drop the bomb. Let them know it through news!" Ritik said.

"Okay...and did he sign them?" she asked.

"Yes. We have our men who could make him sign those! They have emailed me the copy of the papers. I'll print it and give it you." he said.

"Thank god! Finally, I'm getting divorced!" she said smiling.

"You may be the first woman who is happy on that!" Ritik said laughing.

"What is going on?" NK asked as he came down the stairs. Payal who was applying papaya on Khushi's face said, "I'm giving her a papaya facial!"

"Ha...she has to look pretty on engagement na!" Shagun said.

"Oh yes, she has to seduce Arnav during engagement!" Ritik said.

"Bhaiyya!" Khushi whined.

"Just kidding pagli!" Ritik patted her head and looked at NK. NK knew the look. His friend cum brother need to talk something.

"NK, you know what to do right?" Ritik said, "Even though we have caught Shyam, we do not have any proofs regarding his businesses in India."

"I understand Ritz. So what do you want me to do? I should act as Greg's working partner, is it not so?" NK asked.

"Yes, the company is yours and so is the event management. Anjali will make your payment. You can command your workers but make sure that you act as Greg's man in front of Raizada. Do your workers know?" Ritik asked.

"Yep, I have told them and don't worry, they will coordinate with us!" NK said.

"And Payal and Khushi?"

"I have convinced them that Greg and I started this company together and finally they are convinced!" NK said.

Ritik sighed and said, "Thank you so much NK! You're really helping me a lot!"

"What are friends for then?" NK said laughing.

Hours passed and it was evening.

Lavanya paced around her room and Sheetal, Sim and Pam were sitting on the bed watching her walking.

"Calm down La!" Sheetal said.

"CALM DOWN? YOU'R ASKING ME TO CALM DOWN? IT'S ASR'S ENGAGEMENT WITHIN TWO HOURS AND YOU WANT ME TO CALM DOWN?" Lavanya shouted.

"Just forget him! He does not deserve you!" Pam said.

"I WANT HIM!" Lavanya screamed.

"Looks like the pics we sent to that old woman didn't work! No dhamaka occurred at Raizada house!" Sheetal said.

"What pics?" Sim asked.

"Lavanya had morphed Khushi's face with some men and sent it to Nani!" Sheetal said.

"Then?" Pam asked.

"PLAN FLOPPED! THIS OLD WOMAN, WHY DOESN'T SHE DIE?" Lavanya cursed.

"I have a plan La!" Sheetal said.

Everyone looked at Sheetal.

"Bhai some more!" Akash whined and finished another bottle of perfume on Arnav.

"Are you nuts Akash? What the hell are you doing?" Arnav screamed.

"Arrey what is happening here?" Anjali asked as she came in.

"Arrey wah, my Chotte is looking so handsome!" Anjali said looking at her brother who was dressed in a cream kurta.

"This cloth is so irritating. Can I wear a suit please?" Arnav begged. "NO!" Anjali and Akash screamed.

It was then Arnav's phone rang. Akash took his cell and looked at the caller id. It showed Sim.

"Sim? She is Lavanya's minion right?" Akash asked.

Arnav nodded and snatched the phone. "Yeah Sim tell me!" the words the other side told shocked him to core.

"What is it Chotte. What did she say?" Anjali asked.

Arnav looked at Akash not knowing what to say. How can they discuss about Lavanya in front of Anjali. (Arnav doesn't know that Anjali knows everything about Lavanya's dirty tricks, Shashi and Shyam's businesses). "Err nothing di, woh Sim called me to say that Lavanya has took leave for ten days!"

"Why did she inform you?" she asked.

"I had asked Lavanya to submit some designs. Sim informed me that the assignment will be delayed!" Arnav said and Akash said, "Di, Nani might be searching for you. She was asking for ghee!"

"Oh, let me go! Get ready Chotte!" Anjali said and walked out of the room but hid behind the walls.

"What happened bhai?" Akash asked.

"Lavanya and Sheetal are planning a dirty move" Arnav said furiously.

"What move?" Akash asked.

Arnav told him.

"Bhai we need to inform Ritik bhai" Akash said.

"Yes, but before that, call the police commissioner!" Arnav said.

"Don't worry Arnav, I'll handle!" Ritik said.

"How? We've just two hours and how are you gonna handle this?" Arnav asked.

"I'm gonna create a show! I will reveal the truth of Lavanya, her father and Sh..." he stopped himself.

"And who? And what truth of Shashi Gupta?" Arnav asked.

"There are many things you are unaware of Arnav. You'll get to know it tonight!" with that Ritik hung the call and called Anjali.

"We need to reveal his truth tonight!" Ritik said.

"But you said that..." Anjali began when Ritik cut her and revealed about Lavanya's plan.

"I heard it! I was behind the walls! I was about to call you!" Anjali said.

"We need to bring out the truth of that disgusting family and also of that scumbag!" Ritik said firmly, "I need your help Anjali!"

"What help?" she asked.

Her obsession is just too much. Let's see how Ritik will reveal the truth.
