yes..arnav definitely would have looked back/was keeping a check and that is how he came to know of the impending danger.
I irregularly follow the newest offering by the PH which made ipkknd and in that the romantic background score has been playing in almost all scenes of the main couple..that is it has been playing even in scenes where the hero is torturing her, humiliating her, manhandling her.

Arnav wasn't above torturing, manhandling either but at least rabba ve played only when it was required..not when he was being a douchebag to khushi.

The rain hug is the second scene with rabba ve playing and I love it as much as the first one..and I was so surprised when arnav came and rescued her..did not see it coming at all...and that bit when they break the 'hug' and she looks up to him and he down at her..they had some amazing chemistry.

akash and that man and everybody present behaved so insensitively..as if khushi isn't human at all..arnav came and rescued her very romantically but it all started with him behaving insensitively too.
It has been a pattern with them..arnav hurt her whenever she affected him too much..another example would be whatever he said and did after the almost kiss on the diwali day.

Have to disagree on this bit.

Payal had not much of a back story in IPK but deepali is capable of some amazing stuff. Watched her in dmg and I couldn't believe it was her again as a docile Payal.
As for looks I think deepali worked on them. If you see some of her appearances on marathi TV series and another one in agent raghav. Daljeet was prettier. And deepali was better at acting...

I haven't seen any other show starring deepali pansare..so can only comment on her as payal..she wasn't usually given many scenes to bring out the actor in her and when she was..uhh..she was perhaps fine then..honestly don't remember much.May be it's just the character's flaw.

I realize it was khushi's character that was so charming and daring and beautiful but it wouldn't have come across so if sanaya hadn't played khushi the way she did.Actually I always say that she didn't act as khushi..she was khushi, she became khushi.

Yes, very effective scene.
In their own way, both are surprised by what has just happened.
I was studying that scene again this morning, and I feel that how we are perhaps meant to read it, as something that Arnav did on auto-pilot. His rescue was not a conscious act; his hurting her is a conscious act. Interesting.

A complete analysis of episode 24, girl. The rain hug was all that and more. From Khushi's side perhaps just an awareness and awakening of some strong passion. From Arnav's a feeling of being completely in a thrall to his emotions for the first time in a long time...he begins to care, of that there is no doubt in this scene. As you said earlier, he turns around to look at her as the entourage of Mr Dutta and the AR team leave the parkade. That is when he must have spotted the imminent danger heading towards an oblivious Khushi...and he jumps in to pull her out of the way...as he will do again...and again...and again...the lovely yoga Rabba vey scene comes to mind now, when she would otherwise have fallen headlong into the pool! Anyway...moving on...

Yes, the scene in the car a truly defining moment. A karmic connection is established. Shyam Jha's lust and his decision to be unfaithful to his wife...love what you say about the Rubicon here...this is the proverbial point of no return as far as he is concerned...his decision of course impacts too many lives and destroys two families...causing Arnav to take all those knee jerk decisions and salvage the situation later on in a rather drastic move.

Best,

Anu

IPKKND Nostalgia: Episode 025

Type All Night

1. I didn't realize how significant this episode was until I sat down to write this post. Khushi has returned to Shantivan. This time not to sell sarees, but as an employee of ARGroup. It is significant because she becomes privy to the relationship and dynamics of this household. She has entered Arnav's space---his sanctuary---and within one hour and without much speech she upsets his balance. And he has only himself to blame. He invited her there. How interesting it was to watch him pace the floor thinking about how best to trouble Khushi. And the echo of Lavanya's words, "why are you giving this unimportant girl such importance." Why indeed, Mr Raizada?

2. One of the delights of this episode is that Anjali mitigates Arnav's overbearingness. Anjali forces Arnav to behave. No, Chotte! Khushi is not going to the office until she breakfasts with us! I love Anjali's amused smile when there is some question between Khushi and Arnav as to who prevented whom from falling into the pool. And when she tells her, "don't look at him that way." Meaning, don't be intimidated by him. This is the gift of this episode---Khushi has experienced Arnav these past few days; now she experiences Chotte.

3. That she takes his place at the table is a wonderful symbol of how Khushi has entered his home and usurped his role. She has won over with her charm the two people Arnav loves most. A word on that wonderful edit when Khushi discovers that Anjali and Arnav are siblings. Over her right shoulder, Arnav blasts, "Get out!" and over her left is Anjali graciously welcoming her in.

4. Also, it is this episode which launches a recurring theme in the A+K story. It is a theme I particularly love, and one that makes me as an aspiring writer think, "Ah! I wish I had come up with that." I'm referring to how Arnav and Khushi, very early in their relationship begin to keep some of their encounters a secret. They are, in a sense, already behaving as a couple. It adds a kind of illicitness to their relationship. And when they sneeze together they are united because they both know that this is a result of their rain hug, but nobody else does.

5. Shyam is by now probably regretting his carelessness. He should never have obtained a job for Khushi at ARGroup. She has somehow gone from the lowly inventory position to answering to The Man himself. The noose will soon begin to tighten. But he is clearly enamoured with our Girl---and who could blame him. She's so delightful.

Wow! You are right. The domino devastation that Shyam caused because he was weak, or bored, or whatever it is that makes a man do this.

Maya,

Episode 25 has all the elements of true IPK drama. There is passion, there is as you say the delicious illicitness of their relationship that both Arnav and Khushi are past masters at camouflaging from their families, there is Arnav's unique relationship with his Di - he will only ever listen to her, so when she says Khushi will stay to breakfast there is not much he can actually do about it...and that leads to Nani using Khushi to learn more about ASR and Lavanya. And of course...once ASR learns of this development all hell will break lose.

Loved the great camera work in that scene you mention - when Khushi enters Shantivan and sees visions of Arnav on one side and Anjali on the other sending her contradictory messages.

This is also the episode that marks another fall and catch. Khushi thinks she was saving Arnav, Arnav is shocked that the small insignificant employee is so above her station that she thinks she has rescued him! There is again that delicious chemistry at work - they share an intense and openly passionate eye lock...one of the big reasons for the show's popularity was doubtless the smouldering chemistry between these two. They just needed to be put in one frame to set the scene afire!

Previously of course he makes her stay up all night and work to finish typing up reports on an outdated typewriter. I mean who uses these things anymore really! As Khushi rightly says 'Baba Aadam ke zamana ke typewriter...computer bhi toh bhel sakte the'!

And of course, it marks the beginning of Manorama's snarkiness towards Khushi - maligning her as Phati Sari and being openly critical of Arnav employing someone like her. Khushi will now have to pay a costly price for having insulted Manorama, albeit unintentionally, by calling her a servant.

Let the battles begin!

On to Episode 26! 😳

IPKKND Nostalgia: Episode 026

Guesthouse (Maha)

1. Yes, I know what you are thinking, Sisters, that Khushi needs to learn discretion. She needs to hold her tongue. And I do agree. But after watching this episode twice, I feel she is not fully to blame. She is caught in this battle between grandmother and grandson. Nani ought not to have quizzed her about Lavanya. And then it didn't help that Mami ran to Anjali who immediately rang up Arnav. I feel badly for our Heroine's position. In fact, Khushi's position is similar to Anjali's. She too is caught between her nani and her brother.

2. And, yes, Arnav has a right to be angry. He heard from Anjali (who heard from Mami) that Khushi discussed Lavanya with Nani. Good grief! There are so many links on this chain that it's no wonder Khushi's mini error has scaled into a maha incident. Of course, Arnav goes too far. Launching into his usual diatribe on aukaat, class, pedigree etc. etc.

3. Lavanya visits Nani. I can't help but feel sorry for Lavanya. She didn't really stand a chance with Nani, did she? "How quick come the reasons for approving what we like." And how quickly come the reasons to disapprove what we don't want to like.

4. I thought Payal was especially poignant in the scene where she pleads with the AR security guard to provide her with Arnav's phone number. I could feel her powerlessness. Even Buaji is genuinely upset.

5. Buaji is really close to Shyam's truth in that last scene. She notices that he is somehow reluctant to call Raizada House to enquire after Khushi. And she asks him pointedly. But he diverts her. At this point Shyam must be wondering what he's got himself into. Especially when he has no choice but to call Shantivan and Anjali picks up the phone. Yikes!
