Drabble: Journey of Abhigya #31

Pragya sees Abhi standing near the ice-cream stall. She goes to him while he starts walking towards her.

Pragya: *tries to talk but stops as he shows the way towards the beach* *starts walking with him* What happened?

Abhi: *doesn't talk until they reach a spot near the shore* *sits and asks her to sit*

Pragya: *looks at him concerned*

Abhi: I came to know about my life

Pragya: *confused look*

Abhi: I know what happened in my life in the last 3 years.

Pragya: *stumbles* Wha... What happened? What.. d.. do do you know?

Abhi: Everything. *pauses* Everything including my marriage.

Pragya: Who.. Who told you?

Abhi: Aliya

Pragya: *stops breathing for a second* *keeps looking at him*

Abhi: It seems the girl I married was a gold digger. She married me for my money. When I fell in love with her, she cheated me over my wealth and became my boss. Thankfully, Aliya had saved my properties from her.

Pragya: It isn't true. *sees him looking at her surprised* It can't be true

Abhi: Why?

Pragya: Because *becomes numb*

Abhi: You know about my life? Of course, you would. You are my Number 1 FAN, right?

Pragya: *tries to get up*

Abhi: *he holds her wrist tightly making it unable for her to move away*

Pragya: *she tries to get off his grip but he holds her wrist tightly* You are hurting me

Abhi: So are you

Pragya: *eyes widened*

Abhi: What are you afraid of?

Pragya: I am not afraid of anything.

Abhi: Then talk

Pragya: What?

Abhi: Stop lying FUGGY!! *stands up* I know everything. EVERY SINGLE DAMN THING!!

Pragya: *sees a band-aid in his arm* *gets up* What happened to your hand?

Abhi: *ignores it* *holds her arms* I know everything. I just want to hear it from you.
