It means, Suyash, that actingwise, Sowmya is a confused mess and that her expressions are always out of sync with what is going on in the script.

And no, Subha he./she is not criticising the likes of us, but rather trying to explain the disconnect, on Kaurwaki's face, between what the script and the past narrative call for, and what she actually manages to produce.
