Ravan is elated to know that he posseses the Amrit in his navel. He believes that he is immortal, and leaves for the battlefield with even more ego and confidence. But, why is the Amrit stored only in Ravan's navel, why not anywhere else? The navel is place which the Swadishthana Chakra is located. This is the center of our energy, in all forms. The Amrit is placed in Ravan's navel because Vibhishan and Mandodari wanted to increase his power and energy. They wanted him to have the energy to live forever and the power to make it great. But, the opposite happened here. Ravan didn't live forever and his life was not great. What happened? This usually happens when the Chakras are blocked. When the Swadishthana Chakra is blocked, it results into jealousy and fear, feelings that Ravan possessed. But, what blocked the flow of energy in the Chakra? The Amrit. The given energy blocks the present energy, and at the end, there is nothing. Many people say that they can not contribute towards the nation because they do not have the power and position, but when people get it, they still don't do anything. Do you know why? Because the given power blinds them and blocks their given power, making them truly powerless and worthless at the end. We have power, of emotions and the body, that is already present in our body. That energy should be enhanced with food, not added by Amrit. The energy we have is given to us for a reason.
Vibhishan is kidnapped by two women this time, and Hanuman rushes to save him. Instead of fighting with Ravan, like he fought with Ahiravan earlier, he just grabs Vibhishan and escapes. Why the difference? When our peace is lost and we are trying to find the way out, we have to fight many obstacles, until it gets back in order. Draupadi, after the Vastraharan, had to witness many obstacles that stopped her rom gaining inner peace again, Keechak, Jayadratha, and the war. After witnessing and facing all of these, only then she received peace. If the peace is lost, Mukti is also lost, and if it is regained, your chance for Mukti is also regained. But, in the later event, knowledge is lost. When knowledge is being lost or forgotten, what do we do? We try to recall it and grab it at the earliest, just like Hanuman grabbed Vibhishan. Both knowledge and peace are lost by us, but knowledge can be grabbed at the earliest because it is not our fault, but to get the peace back, you have to face troubles because you let it go or you let others take it from you.
The theme of the episode is concern. Ravan is concerned about his immortality because Vibhishan knows the secret. Ram is concerned about the war, so he conducts the Shakti puja. Sita is concerned about the puja, so she helps Hanuman get the flowers. And Hanuman and the army are concerned about Vibhishan, so Hanuman is sent to get him back. Concern is gotten without asking, but for help, you need to ask. Ram had to ask for Maa's blessings, but no one had to ask Ram to be concerned about the war. Sita gave the lotuses to Hanuman only ater he asked, but she was concerned without any input from him. Ravan didn't have to be concerned about his immortality, but he had to ask the women to kidnap Vibhishan. And Hanuman had to be asked to go get Vibhishan, but he was already concerned about him. Any action is done because previous events ask for the deed. But, concern, it knows no time or place, it happens. Feelings just happen, while actions need to be given a push, and that push is usually feelings. Like the ever present Prakriti is the base of Sanskriti, ever present feelings are the mother of actions.
