The latest buzz in Kollywood is that Thankar Bachan is all set to direct the mega star of India. He is believed to have roped in Amitabh Bachchan to act in his forthcoming film.

According to the sources, he has already narrated the story to the star and the later is said to be impressed with the story. Sathyaraj too will act in the film.

The film will be based on a unique friendship between a north Indian (played by Amitabh) and a Tamilian (Sathyaraj). The movie tries to portray the depth of the friendship.

Though Amitabh is involved in the project, Thankar is not planning to make it a bilingual project. But he has an idea of releasing the dubbed version in Hindi.

Other details including the choice of actresses, producer, and music director are expected to be announced in the function to be held to celebrate the victory of 'Onbathu Ropai Nottu'.

Recently, while shooting a song and dance for Sujoy Ghosh's Alladin , Bollywood mega superstar Amitabh Bachchan suffered a painful injury.

But the workaholic that he is, the Big B did not make a song and dance about it.

"It's nothing," Bachchan brushed off what any other actor would have taken as a cue for a shooting break. "I was shooting a dance. While doing a movement something gave way in my hand. But it's in control. No big deal".

But director Sujoy Ghosh said, "Sir is in considerable pain. But he insists on continuing. Any one else would have curled up and called off the shoot. But that's what makes him special.

When the injury happened on Thursday he didn't allow us to know what happened. Throughout the day he hid his pain and continued dancing. Only at the end of the day did we get to know what had happened."

But for the Big B the show has to go on. "Yes, it's true I've continued shooting. Can't allow losses on the job, as far as possible. It's okay. Such things happen in life. A ligament in my wrist is torn. The treatment is on. I should be all right in a week."

The legend sets another example in professionalism.

The camaraderie between the two stars was also visible on the sets of Bhootnath . Shah Rukh and Big B often played cards in between shots and shared many jokes.

As SRK said in Om Shanti Om : Aakhir mein sab theek ho hi jaata hai.
