I'm ok with Raman not believing it.. because he is not really aware of little things Ishita pieced together.. and also he knows she is selfish but he can't really think of her as criminal until he witness it and that's fine ..

Him standing for Ishita at this juncture is important and until now he never uttered once in public that Pihu is Ishita's daughter and Shagun is literally no one to Pihu.. as harsh as it may sound she is just a surrogate who gave her birth.. not talking about right or wrong here..

Hopefully we get meaningful in the content that drives the story forward..

Also as you said the revelation of bramhastra is not far now as Shagun is completely cut off from Bhallas family..

If she really loves Pihu and shows it when she knows Pihu had fever and missing her.. i would have soft corner for her.. now not anymore.. Pihu doesn't deserve to go through the psychological trauma that both Adi (large portions) and Ruhi (smaller doses).. went through.. but they both are carrying that burden and will carry for the rest of their lives..

Small steps but definitely towards right direction..

Yes it's clear on so many levels she doesn't love Pihu..Shagun is greedy.. she wants what all Ishita has and Ishita should be thrown out.. she is not happy that bhallas forgave her for the betrayal, her place in their house and even in their hearts, Pihu's love and now because of Ishita she even got married and have an opportunity for a decent life.. but she is so consumed in her jealousy.. it's going to be her downfall.. with this jealousy she doesn't care if she commits crime also.. but after this criminal behavior would anyone let her come near them let alone Raman? I guess she can't think any more..

Her bramhastra may be related to Pihu.. worse she could manipulate papers to show it's her and Raman baby and as a biological mother she should get Pihu.. so this will be devastating..
